Still rocking this build. Here is my current gear:
Just need some advice on where I should concentrate? This is all self found/crafted. Thanks |
|
Well it's obvious it's self found, it's not that great :) But don't worry, youll get better and best thing is you don't need tons of currency to do so.
I can only tell you that check OP's gear in first post and try to emulate it as closest as possible. I will just say that you're using too many redundant attacks and seriously lacking 5L item. That is first thing I would invest. 5L chest, even if they have to be blue, with life+ and one resistance that you craft yourself, if you're totally poor. Get worst 5L chest you can afford. Basically you don't play this build at all. You need to combine SA/chain for this build to work - This build needs no other attacks except frenzy and SA/chain. It really doesn't. This is the way you must link your gems /and what gems you must use. If you have only 4L, drop faster attacks (on either). WED is absolutely crucial, drop yours "faster missiles". Btw SA usually uses added lightn. damage but since I've already had tons of lightn. damage and had serious problems in chroming my chest to desired color combo, I've stayed on cold. " I played a self-found character, so I know it's rough. You need life, capped resists and a lot more dps. This build is not really self found friendly. You really need a better bow, and your dps needs are pretty specific and not "easy" to find yourself. Since you aren't using purity, you are going to have a really hard time capping your resists with gear that is otherwise suitable for the build. I have gear from leveling one character to 81 and this guy to 82. I think I've been really lucky with drops, but I wouldn't have gotten anywhere without buying my bow. My friend donated my belt and my current quiver to me, and I just bought a new helm. Here's what I'm using now:

I just found this last night: And like I would like to upgrade something else, but I'm not sure what to try to upgrade next. If I can get more fire resist somewhere, I can equip this instead of this |

That's one badass quiver. I'm jealous. Really. Mine is good defensive but not much more then that;
If you ever want to sell it, contact me plse. Your gear is decent, what are your stats? Resi, life, armor, dps on full frenzy with both attacks? IGN STD Ajax_Deadeye| Nathaniel_Corwin| Itane_Shira| Tetra_Mayani| Arkanis_Gath

I don't remember my stats exactly off the top of my head. I think I'm at 2.8k SA/chain dps without any frenzy charges. I have about 3.9k life and I think only 3.4something armor. My single target dps tooltip doesnt work since I use ele hit for single target, so I'd have to do some math to figure it out.
I'm linked like this now: SA-Chain-WED-FasterAttacks-LoH Frenzy-CullingStrike-IIQ-IIR EleHit-WED-FasterAttacks-LifeLeech If you keep up your frenzy charges with MF culling hits, EleHit is noticeably better single target dps. If you're interested in gear, I have some extra stuff for this build (for example, these quivers and this helm:

Seems a great guide here. question here~
How do you deal elemental reflect mobs? IGN: Rainku_Arc
|
|
Without any problems. That includes ele reflect maps, whatever. Chain + Q LoH is incredible combo, with high att. speed you leech massive amounts of health, you can tank better then marauder :) you have to see it to believe it.

" I'm at 2,77K SA dps with frenzy but I'm only level 72 That's advantage of frenzy, you can use it to buff your SA unlike with ele hit. Essentially I swap frenzy /SA constantly, it's practical and effective. Calculate ele damage dps, is it worth it? My frenzy is 8,45K dps fully loaded. I'll check out gear later, If they "fit" I'll let you know. Actually our gear is pretty comparable - couldn't determine which one was better jut by looking at it, that's why I've asked you for stats :) IGN STD Ajax_Deadeye| Nathaniel_Corwin| Itane_Shira| Tetra_Mayani| Arkanis_Gath

" Yeah I can still keep up all my frenzy charges (I'm using 3 skills), so for single target dps I am really choosing between Frenzy and Ele Hit without considering building up frenzy charges. Assuming 4 frenzy charges: Frenzy (q20 lvl20) gives you 72% increased attack speed. The phys damage is no benefit to this build. I have 72% attack speed from gear/tree/charges already, so this is an overall 42% increase in both aps and dps. Ele Hit (q0 lvl20 - quality no benefit to this build) gives an additional base ele damage of an average of *287* per attack. To give you an idea of the scale of this, my pretty decent bow does an average of *109* ele damage per attack. One of the main drawbacks to Ele Hit is mana cost, which is insignificant to this build. Things that affect which would be better: Frenzy scales better with more frenzy charges. If your gear is all added flat damage, Frenzy scales better with that. If your base attack speed bonuses are low, Frenzy scales better. If you have lots of WED on your gear, Ele Hit scales better. If you're supporting with Added Cold or Added Lightning, Ele Hit would work better. I suspect Ele Hit is stronger in almost all cases for this build. My recommendation is to just try it out, assuming you still are using a Frenzy somewhere to build charges up. When I tested Ele Hit out, it was obviously better at taking down bosses. |
