I'm not sure, but i think crit multiplier boosts dps more than crit chance (it seems this way with support gems anyway) since this build already has pretty high crit chance. But pure phys damage might be good too (haven't really tested)

Persollay after vaal and inner force i'm wondering should i get Elemental Adaptation, I feel that the dps at this stage is already pretty good and wondering about going more defensif for the end build.

Also, I'd like to know what you guys think of my current gear.

Spoiler

Boots definetly need an upgrade, circlet too (too many non CI mods and not enough AR).

Do you guys think the dagger is good enough? Th PhyD is a bit low but it has insane attack speed (really smooth gameplay wise, will be tough to change to slower one).

Anyway, your advice would be appreciated cuz I'm not really sure what the priority gear wise is here (too many possibilities not enough currency...)

I feel strong arm does the most overall, it's what I chose to go with and I saw a pretty substantial spike in damage. Reason being is raw physical damage increase should influence all other stats in the damage formula more than anything. Such is true when you gear with a new weapon, the higher the IPD% the more overall damage bump you'll see, crit chance and multi aside.

Hello

I have a bunch of question of shadow CI dagger crit build. Im at lvl 72-73 atm, and mostly i have problem with my mana usage. I'd be glad if you give me advices maybe changes, tips or anything what could be useful.

1. i have 78 % hit chance i feel it a little bit low, what do you think?

2. I am using discipline , hatred , wrath at about lvl 17. with mana reduce. I have only 248 mana that is not reserved. My aoe is LS and it takes about 40 mana with modifiers at lvl 14-15. I link my current gear and it would be great if you could help me with it.

Currenct Gear , needs advice at bottom

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/305896

Current skill tree heading to inner force

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgYABX0OSBB7ES8RUBGWFdcWvxnXHNweGiepKCoo-isKLL8s4TBUNj074UZxRwZWY1bqVvVfam0ZcFJwVnDVfeN-WX_Ghq6H24hCiGuLeowLjoqQG5MnlSCX0JlXmZqaE52joqOly6Z_pyunNKxmsbO0DLTFtUi297iTuT65fLvWvjrAUcBUwQDBxcHzwuzDbdeG2HbbGttu29Ti9-OE5oHp_utj6-7sGOyw7UHz6vVL_Kv_kw==

3. I have a chest as you see, yesterday i made it from a simple white 1s to this within 7 chaos 45 jewelry, 2 fusing (haha i think i had luck) whatever i plan to use LS in it but i cant decide which variation should i use :

RRGGGB : LS- WED- Faster attack- LMP- Mana leech- Crit multipler / new gem Power Charge
RRGGBB : LS- WED- Mana leech/Faster attack (i dont know im suffer from mana but i have faster attack fetish) - Criti multipler - Power chage

Unfortunet i dont think i can make RRGGGB from my vaal regalia ilvl78. I cant even made a RRGGBB and i spent like 500 chromatics til now.

What is your advices for my 3 question?, I use wawrlord mark lvl 13-14 at sometimes but it takes mana too. What would you change?
At the lvl cap, warlord's aura is way too low on lvl 1,
lvled ls because it takes 1 more mana at lvl 20 than lvl 1
Resists at 50% in merciless, dps is at 9k with only 4l ls, or with 4l doublestrike.
Kind Regards

Yep, you are right about your comments on your gear. The dagger's physical damage is low but with a whopping 1.95 attacks per second it ranks up there with some of the highest dps in the server currently @ 341.3.

That's the beauty of the Ambusher class of daggers, it may suffer from weaker physical damage than most but it has innately the highest attack speed which makes it one of the better daggers to craft from since if you roll a good attack speed mod in addition to some elemental and raw physical you'll be dishing out tons of damage, nice find man!

Thanks! Yes, the attack speed is great. I would defineltly recommend high aps. In the end you're doing more crits per second too, so more status ailments, flask charges and it kinda compensates low physical damage leech wise.

Don't forget that higher APS means more mana usage.
If you're reading this, I'm probably on another year-long ban.
Thanks GGG.

True. Could be a problem if I link a high mana* support gem to LS.
Guys I need some help with the mechanics of Lightning strike...

Do the projectiles do pure light dmg? or does it do mixed physical+light (+added cold/fire/light etc from gear/auras) ?

Taken directly from the wiki page on the skill lightning strike

"When the melee attack is made, three lightning projectiles will shoot out in a ~85 degree arc, traveling in a straight line untill they strike an enemy. Unmodified projectiles will do 70% of full weapon damage, of which 50% is physical and 50% is lightning damage (the bolts benefit from added damage, e.g. as from aura's), against any target struck. Linking a Lesser Multiple Projectiles or Greater Multiple Projectiles support gem will multiplicatively reduce the damage of each projectile and spread further projectiles out within the 85 degree arc.

Cannot Miss: This applies only to the projectiles launched after you initiated the strike. Swinging in enemies' general direction will result in projectiles with a hit/miss chance equal to that of the skill itself. Projectiles that miss will be dissipated without doing damage.

Converted Damage: Like all converted damage, the lightning portion of Lightning Strike's damage will be modified by both lightning damage and physical damage increases. Furthermore, the damage done by the lightning bolts is considered projectile damage (instead of melee), therefore any Strength bonus does not apply. "
