I now that my dps is low, but I can't get rrrrgb on my chest. I spend 2K+ Chromatics and nothing ...
I tried one lvl 66 map wiht 12% phis reflect and 50% low mana/life regen. Little slower, but I make it. And for reflect maps I use lightning strike for my attack.
For now I can do easily 73-74 maps. Higher lvl maps getting hard. And no way to kill Atziri whit this gear :)
Now I wait for new patch and new craft system to try again recoloring my regalia.

Well with the current state of Vaal Pact, i cannot be sure if you are better with or without vaal pact. Without VP, your ES will always regenerate at 20% of your max ES per second. So it is really a quetion of your DPS vs your ES. The lowest your ES, the more mandatory instant leech becomes. For reflect maps however, instant leech always wins.
Anyway, the changes on daggers/crit/auras and shadow in general will be very significant, so we will wait and see.

Like always they gonna fuck things up big time for flicker strikers. They will nerf every single aspect of this build, even Acuity. I don't understand this GGG policy why 500ex builds always get a nerf axe, its just plain stupid, if you managed to find/accumulate that much wealth, than you have earned the right to kill like a god. I don't think flicker will be playable after 1.2. This whole game just sucks right now because whiners and casuals rule here. I bet next thing we get is BoA, even the "economuh" is so important.
Too bad I will never experience deterministic crafting in this game, 'cause I will most likely quit.. After I worked my ass off to get my Acuity, these get the nerf hammer, fuck this bulshit.
The problem was that low life spectral throws, have been killing not just like a god, but like the whole pantheon united. The nerfs to flicker will be just collateral damage.

True. However flicker is uncontrolable, and very risky as a skill to use. Also it loses a huge part of it's effectiveness on full parties, desyncs like hell, will never be hardcore viable, and in the end it still clears slower than spectral throw. You do have a point though man, a nerf to it's damage on the high levels will be fair. I am just afraid if we go in to the post 1.1, pre acuity situation, where it was unviable with 300 ex gear for hard 76-78 maps.

Not quite, since Raging Spirits can have over 1kk dps )

I really wish GGG would release some unique that would only give 25% or 50% leech as instant, but would be much more common than Acuity, so that not only those who swim in hundreds of exalts could afford it...

Actually the best thing to do really is to just buff vaal pact back to 100% leech effectiveness. At least for melee skills. If GGG desided to remove all acuities(including existing ones), and buff back vaal pact, i would support it. Of course i'd lose my acuity, but it would be better for biggest percentage of the player base, and that is what really matters in the end. Or just buff vaal pact and keep acuity, so it is not always the BiS item.

I think LL flickers clear faster than ST, but indeed they desync and one shot themself on hard maps, they hit soo hard, also ST have range unlike flicker, that why I and majority prefer ST, its less DPS but much more safe.

Anyway, lets hope what one who have fun with flicker will be able to do it after 1.2 patch, though in PoE meta changes quite frequently.

Nah, low life spectral owened us all in the gorge clear speed contenst. You know, i beleive that you and me will be fine post nerfs. We have the wealth to adjust, poorer players who will want to try this build, or spectral throw build are screwd. You know i think i cried enough on the matter. I guess the REAL reason that i whined about spectral throw, was that deep inside i knew that flicker and crits are OP, and i knew that the whole spectral throw situation would turn the player base against crit daggers, which, up to now very conviently ignored, focusing mainly on the flavour of the month :P
Look at poor two handers, the can have full body mirrored and they still will suck

The main thing that REALLY bothers me in this game, is how increadibly hard is for people with not so good gear(even impossible), and how freakin' easy it is for people with good gear. I really wish they did something to shorten that gap. It is disgusting IMO. Sure the over geared should be more powerful, considerably even, but that difference is just WAY too much.
