GGG, so your idea of addressing anything evasion related.....
Update: still investigating. Can't divulge details but the devs are super busy and likely wary of me when I've got a bee in my bonnet, so to speak.
But I submit this to you all: Read Iron Reflexes' flavour text and then tell me why the hell 'Cannot dodge' isn't a given. Seriously. https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

" Not really. If you get stunlocked with entropy you would get stun locked the vast majotiy of the time without entropy aswell, making it equally useless. At the same time entropy prevents you from getting stunlocked in situations where you would risk getting stunlocked without it, making it a whole lot safer and better. | |
I see SoujiroSeta still wants to gear for the situations that will kill him most of the time, at the expense of the situations in which he stands a reasonable chance.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. " I dont know, the whole naming makes no sense to me to begin with, how does one turn reflexes to 'iron' to begin with. Neither does the fact my toon has enough 'reflexes' to avoid close range attacks but not enough to evade a charging mob from offscreen... he couldn't see it coming, yeah right. Why it wasn't given is obvious, it wasn't of any use before - now it has to be or the whole thing does exact opposite of what the change meant to do. Assuming they didn't mean to give another boost to IR anyways, what do I know. |

Hmm, my full evasion characters have made it farther than any of my other characters, arrow dodging alone nullifies some of the really bad nasties, chaos slinging snakes.

Why does almost everyone comparing armour and evasion forget that armour is physical only, but evasion covers all attacks? Of course armour is more effective - it's more specialised!
IR + Acrobatics theoretically makes sense now if you run Grace + Determination for stacking bonuses, but otherwise it's a bad idea. If you're only going to get 1/2 the normal armour, you may as well just leave Acrobatics and IR alone, wear Duelist armour and get a nice mix of armour and evasion the natural way. Acrobatics is still designed for Evasion specialists, it just lets them get a bit of armour on the side, such as from Granite flasks, and/or a bit of Energy Shield (not enough to go ES-based, but enough to get useful amounts of mana from Eldritch Battery, for instance). |

" Don't get me started about the name. Not again. https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

" Like or no, Arrow Dodging is the ultimate evasion keystone. I don't have a clue what to make of Acrobatics+3 lame boosts+Phase Acrobatics anymore. I just don't. :) https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

Well in the next patch, things will be doing a lot less damage a hit than they do know, it will make anything evasion based a lot more viable due to that fact

Please someone clear this confusion for me:
Acrobatics gives you a 20% chance to dodge attacks. Evasion gives you a chance to evade attacks. Arrow dodging doubles the chance to evade projectiles. I'm assuming "dodge" is a thing calculated separately from "evasion", is that right? ie. a bonus on top of your evasion? Even if you had 0 evasion, with acrobatics you still have 20% chance to dodge (or evade, lol) attacks? If that is true, arrow dodging should be in fact named arrow evading all this time (I think in 0.11 they are renaming it).
