Item Allocation Specifics

THANK YOU SO MUCH GGG!

From now on I'll refer to you guys as the GGGods.
IGN: Azzamean, Oki, Darksci
So I'd like to expand on what I said earlier. I think Unique Maps should randomly allocate, but white/magic/rare maps should be m2m. Especially since a few patches ago IIR applies to maps. This means someone like a wander (culling strike) can just go into a pub map group with a bunch of IIR and the maker will be robbed of most maps.

On another note I don't agree with IIR applying to maps. What was the logic for this? For people who alch maps this only INCREASES the cost of running maps because so many drop blue now so they are forced to scour. Without IIR people who run blue maps use a transmute... which is so insignificant. This only made running maps MORE expensive.

And again! Please add 6 sockets to the valuable items list! Once that happens and I turn off "always display" and use alt to pick up items! Which would be so wonderful!

Giving options to people - bad in the eyes of the gamers? -_-

The "gamers" are the problem

You guys both sound dumb as fuck.

Love the changes GGG keep up the good work.

The only one who is dumb as fuck is you.

I'm fully in support of these changes, GGG is giving us options, how can that be bad?

These aren't really options. Permanent Allocation is a far more efficient system than the other two options. Nobody is going to want to play in a less efficient system.

In essence they are changing the default allocation system from timer based to permanent and adding FFA for kicks.

There may be some people who still play the old way and some the FFA way but it will be a novelty at best.
I would just like to see names put back on the items, I honestly don't care how they're allocated (although I prefer FFA), I just want to be able to call items out to friends the item dropped for.

I can't say "Hey Jon an Exalted dropped over here for you!" because I can't see who it dropped for.

Please put names back on the items!

you really dont understand our community then, some people enjoy the challenge of ffa, or the old loot system, adding options doesnt mean know one will use the other 2.

FFA - for the fast reflex / highly competitive players, test your self. people will do this, its a fact, not up for debate.

Normal - people will still use it, it means that if you ignore your loot, someone else will still be able to take it for themselves, easy share parties, or semi casuals.

L2N - low end pc / slow reflex / casuals that dont want to run for the loot, will use this, this does not mean EVERYONE will use it because its safety, its Wraeclast, the whole theme is about dark and danger.

sad day when the wee lasseh thinks "efficiency" makes things more fun in a game. last time i checked, people enjoyed challenges.

if people didnt like challenge, then hardcore wouldnt be popular, nor would the races considering if you die you wasted so many hours (or minutes for hour races) to fail.

That's not a fair comparison because hardcore has a ladder system as a reward which let's you check your position relative to other players and so do the races with the additional reward of items for, 'x' amount of points.

What's the reward for playing FFA or timer? Keep in mind these systems will objectively be less efficient than Permanent Allocation which means to keep up with other players using permanent, you will have to use permanent.

I think this is my first post on these forums, and it's lame that I'm so lame and this is what first fires me up enough to post. I SERIOUSLY do not understand well as i write this maybe i do understand a little why melee have an advantage over ranged. Closer to danger = better chance at loot? I mean is that the idea?
Any 6 socket item should be classed as valuable too
