Item Allocation Specifics

Nice one. I'll be very interested to see how the balance between the options works out in Pubs.

Never enjoyed ffa.

*sigh*, read my signature to understand my opinion on this. Particularly the 2nd line.

I'll be rolling FFA 24/7. Map to Map maker is good though.

I'm kinda glad for this update though. Now I can experience FFA and not some silly short term allocation system that just got annoying over time.

Edit: Please tell me this isn't the "secret awesomey goodness" you were hinting at Chris. If this is all it is, I'm not impressed. :{

GGG made really bad decisions, i played since the begining of the closed beta and i was sure shits will happen about the loot system .

Bad designed : you can't put a name on the loot and say "hey !!! it's semi ffa !! it will be fun"
if you name a loot then you assigned an owner , if the owner can't pickup the item = frustration, basic judgment : others are stealers.

it is basic psychology... sad that people making a game didn't get it

i played d2 for 10 years, i never saw a player complaining about the loot system on party... why ? because the loots are anonymous, so you can't say "you stole my loot " etc...

Secondly, poe and d2 have not the same fanbase/customers base , in d2 everybody said "hello, hi" when entering in a party whereas in poe the guy comes and says "fresh tp " "tp" like he was the king (while the tp are already updated) and when people can't make a tp because they are fighting, he will spam "tp" "tp" etc, the third time he will try to be polite by convenience "tp plz" and the 4th time "TP FUCKERS"


and that's the soft version....

Minor details ? Therefore, why people are so surprised by people not respecting maps to the maker rule; even stealing level 66 maps while their characters are level 78-80 ?



PS: and not to mention people multiboxing ...

Against the changes giving into the entitled crowd. Part of ARPGs is competing for loot and takes out that strategy. As a whole it makes the game easier. I understand why GGG did it but I hope for some of the longer leagues FFA is the only loot option. I'm assuming "I can't find any parties" will be a new theme in the forums. In the context of the game why would a bunch of criminals take the time to divide loot equally?

Exactly, I don't get why so many people are bitching. It's like complaining there is a low resolution mode when only l33t games are hi-res. It's an option to YOUR game, not an enforcement.

I forgot to add this to my post, I so not want this to be the secret awesomeness :/ I'm expecting a trading system or /player X ala d2. Atleast everyone will have the same chance as multiboxers.

Thanks GGG. Keep the good patches rolling in! This is off topic but has anyone ever said when a new act will come out? Is it a once a year thing, or a whenever it's ready thing?
