Read his post again he never made the claim that only top of the ladder people defend FFA. Also typing lol does nothing to add to the discussion.

And inane conspiracy theories do contribute to the discussion?

Whether or not he is right or wrong isn't the point. You can disagree and explain why you think what he said is crazy or not post at all. He may very well be wrong but he is still stating his opinion as he sees it which is part of the discussion.

Perhaps those players who only play 1-2h a day should play more if they want more loot then?

Great advice there. However the point being brought up is the difference of perspective between players. Some people aren't going to able to put a lot of time into the game at no fault of their own and their perspective is a lot different then the mega hardcore guys. Just something to recognize.

You don't understand, it's about loot stealing.
Playing for a couple of hours a day and seeing your loot ninjaed it's bound to give you some serios frustration.

Oh wait, nevermind. Nothing was actually stolen. Since you never were in possession of it in the first place.

Although, I do agree with the frustration part.

Shit can be rough in Wraeclast. So many exiles.

Thats the pvp mindset which funny enough hardly anyone actually enjoys playing in this game. Therefore we are here in this forum asking for a change.

It's the mindset of the devs too pretty much, an item isn't yours or someone elses until it's in your inventory, you have the grace period there to help ranged vs melee and high latency players have a fair chance at loot.

Agreed, According to the last time they talked about it.

Technically true but not how most players treat the game from what I can see.

Yes the timer is supposed to be help with these issues brought up by the community at the time, however its an uphill battle to actually make it feel fair. This system will never feel fair to all players, those who struggle with internet issues, differnet playstyles/builds. It will never feel fair to those who just want to play PVE.

Wrong, pretty damn wrong.

It's not fair at all for players with high latency.

That is one of the main problems of the FFA loot as it is right now.

It's pretty bad for high latency players. Wen i say bad, i mean pretty shitty bad. . .
Isn't it easier to just let the party leader of some sort decide what kind of looting will be in the dungeon.

That way we can solve all of these problems without all the arguments.

Hardcore people can have their cutthroat feelings while the people who just log in to have fun from time to time can still get their loot and not leave the game when some stranger joins the game and ninjas their items.

Apparently this makes too much sense.
