Game has dropped in popularity to closed beta level
" Not the only, but a big one, yes. That and just how easy it is to make another account. For free. 'Banning' anyone from here is like kicking someone out of a pub and then letting them back in because they've put on a Groucho Marx moustache. https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

Doesnt surprise me in the slightest. Many of us felt the decline long ago, let alone just now.
GGGs idea of fun took a sudden turn to another direction from where many of us felt it should have gone. GGG - Why you no? Last edited by JoannaDark#6252 on May 22, 2013, 6:22:09 PM

" I wonder what this guy thought about Closed Beta.. The fact that you had to pay $10 just to play it by his opinions means it should have been even more complete than Open Beta is. Lawl. Last edited by ntall1#6671 on May 22, 2013, 6:21:37 PM

" Well from where I'm sitting, it looks like the developers don't want feedback as much as they want praise of how their idea's are amazing and faultless. It seems to me that the developers of Diablo 3 kind of took that stance, trying to dictate what was fun for their player base. How did that work out for them? All the luck to them. Honestly though, this game shined in closed beta and so far has failed pretty hard in open beta. I don't foresee it changing or getting better until the developers take a hard look at their design principle's and make some needed changes. As for my judgement that the game has failed in open beta, I'll take friends, co workers, families opinions of something, as well as a dead friends list of 40 people, a lot more seriously than forum try hards any day. " It's amusing to me that you consider an observation "trolling" You probably consider anybody who disagrees with you to be a troll, as well. Also: this strategy worked very well for D3. The moderators there continuously ban people for posting negative feedback. wink, wink. |

" Totally agree, some no-lifers around here (no need to name, you know who you are!) declare the demise of the game with fresh topics on a daily basis. The reality ingame is quite different: I for one usually have global chat open and there are always new players asking their newbie questions. I say, to hell with these nay-sayers, their topics are repetitive, boring and have ZERO feedback value. Deutscher Chat: /global 4745

" Hear hear! OP's theory has been debunked several times now, and his logic shown to be faulty. He abandons those conversations for others real fast like as if him saying more somehow decreases the level of bad logic he used. No reason to let the game and the community be trolled, and by that point it is just that trolling, let us step up the moderation around here, haters be damned. (you are probably right though charan, it probably will just provoke them into furious nonsense, but at least it wont hold the masquerde of truth) Let these forums be about discussion. It is ok to be negative, it is ok to be critical, it is not ok to just spew untrue, illogical, unconstructive garbage all over the outward face of this game. Hey...is this thing on? The game losing players is a myth. Too many kripp fanboys are panicking that their god is not playing their game every day.
