Lol that is why I am still 88 and you are 96. I take to many foolish chances. But I have fun doing it, so it is not all bad. If I were dead set on leveling further, I would take better precautions. But for the moment, I just enjoy seeing what I can and can't do with this build and my gear. Twin LMP piety was a blast, even though it cost me 10% exp. But yea, if I was at your level 10% exp would be a huge slap in the face. But since I cannot chain 77 maps :P I have no real hopes of reaching that level anyways, so I do what I can to have some fun. I feel the same way about double strike. Yeah, it is a fun change of pace, but it always feels good to come back to infernal blow. The extra aoe range and the explosion are just to nice to give up. Yeah that's really fun, when i was 90 or something i really much enjoyed pushing the character to it's limits, no matter if the XP bar was going at 60-80%, didn't see myself so addicted back then and never thought i'd be making the character so far, maybe it's because of the many deaths at mid 80 levels or something, so many stupid resurrect buttons and i thought it'd be like that always :p But yeah, it would be like a slap in the face with a whale-penis if dying now :p
More addiction coming the next patch, dunno why, but the way character looks has been always a real addiction in these games for me and now they're giving this Skin Transfer thing, holy mother of that whale penis.. Got one stash tab full of stuff from vendors, prepared for the patch day :D |

" Yeah i was pretty much speechless, whole party started to run around immediately. One good wake up call once again.. I'm really not sure if i had topaz+fire potion running at the time of that hit. It was -res, added 90% fire dmg and vulnerability.. So it's hitting a shitload of elemental damage. About same mods but no -res mod it did 900 damage with only topaz potion used. |

" I'd say it was -24% max res, atleast it started with a 2, but i cannot say for sure.. Anyways it was closer to 25 than 20 :p I tried to look up from google for how much damage it hits normally, when no mods counted, but couldn't find anything.. Same with Magaera, couldn't find any numbers for that boss either. I think i once saw somewhere the number for Piety's Ice Shot and it was like 4000-4500 what it hits for and it's like the skill Ice Shot, 60% physical / 40% cold and it's a regular attack too, so every extra ele dmg % adds to that too and it's clearly visible :p |

" played the shipyard boss with -max res (im playing double strike) with two other ppl who are using the same build.. additionally someone was using extra gore effect so i couldnt see the molten shell lol. it exploded and i didnt block it so it hit me for like 5,5k, was kinda shocked. xD + fire golems are pretty scary (in crema map e.g.) with -max res, one of few maps where i have to use both hands to play. still amazing build. :-) |

Hey. I've been playing the poor-man's variant of this build for a while now. Since I've started this character he quickly became my most loved and highest leveled. I'm currently level 74 and coming up on 75.

Pretty damn poor, yeah, I know. Damn fun, though. Most fun I've had playing this game. I've managed to save up 38 GCPs, so hopefully I'll be able to afford my very own Aegis Aurora in the near future. After that, it's saving up for either a Soul Taker, Bringer of Rain, or Tabula Rasa... Depending on the degree of my patience. :P Any suggestions on how I can improve this without damaging my already-broken bank any further? |
