I can't handle all these blue balls.
Will hit lvl 91 soon on HC Ladder.
As I said some sites before. Thx for the Build and that nice Vids :).

But I found one weakness (normally i never drop to life).
How you handle -resist + Burning lets say on Crematorium Map with that fire golem inside. Pretty hard to counter that burning dmg....

I have improved my gear a bit:
Spoiler

I can say this hybrid gear really rock.
currently lv 79 atm my first successful character no problem with most mods but have a trouble with no regen maps
current gear

cool build, but theres alot you can do to refine it.

some nodes are wasted, also not taking the crit strike dmg multiplier and this is a tank build?

why are you taking flat armor nodes over IF ?,
(wich scales your grace/det and will prettymuch give you a better yield)

that 15% node alone is going to do more for you than the armor nodes you have on starter marauder.

since you dropped Unwavering stance, stuns can be bothersome. to not have to deal with this at all you could use cyclone "wich has a non-stun element too it"

Here is what im currently using "im a cyclone blockspecced duelist, tanked everything from "vaal slam/crema -res/dual shrine piety"

current passives

Estimated passives at lvl 100.

heres what im using gear wise

Ofc the reduced critical nodes are taken on this build. And atleast for me Inner Force is a smaller booster in armour than ar% nodes are. I currently have Inner Force in use, just got to level 96 and it wasn't untill 94 when i had enough spare points to use for it. Chaos resistance is something i'm working on to improve, would be lovely to be able to use Blood Rage and that way take off life leech gem from links.

This is the current passive tree, gear has been the same as it's been for ages, no changes :p

Not sure where to put the last passives, not that it would be to worried for some time but :p Propably that 6 node evasion circle on the bottom, that would bring me to 46 500 armour, now it's at 38.5k (still) with auras on

Ever since I was urged to try the build w/o Unwavering, I have begun to test all the so called "mandatory" passives myself and judge them based on the needs of MY build and not on the needs of most builds.

Similar to Unwavering Stance, I was always told that the reduced crit multi passives were a MUST or I would simply die all the time. Recently, I decided to try not taking these passives and have noticed ZERO difference. In fact, the only boss I seem to have trouble with these days is the crema boss, and I already have plans on how to counter that boss (rainbowstrides + eye of chayula).

You don't even need that amulet :p Rainbowstrides is the only thing you need and the BIS item for this build, spells afterall are the only thing that have the tiniest change of killing you, no amount of life from rare boots can compete against 25% spell block. I died last time at level 87 and i used rare boots, then i switched for Rainbows and haven't died a single time after that. I can stand still and go make coffee against double boss crematorium, it's actually easier than one boss, because of more hits blocked = more ES replenished, current armour gives roughly 1540 ES per block.

Have to test how it feels without those reduced critical nodes, there was two days ago quite hard hitting Spinecrack in precinct map. -Resistance, Vulnerability, 90% extra fire damage, which adds to that particular bosses attack, somebody casted critical weakness on it, instead of enfeeble, it hit me for roughly 3000 damage, which kind of 1 hit damage i can't even remember seeing before, not counting Vaal here.

Really? hmm... I died to crema boss not because of burst dmg or anything, I was stunlocked pretty much nonstop and life slowly drained to death. I still don't have a new pair of Rainbowstrides so I had to take her on with regular gear but it lead to my death -_-

It was chaining, Temporal Chains, and -max mods though so I don't feel to bad about it. Pretty hard mods to try with that boss, but that is what I enjoy.

I have been hoping to get my hands on a 25% rainbowstrides for awhile now, but the RNG god hates me. I have been thinking about it a lot lately. I guess I will just have to hope for some currency to drop instead =/ but on the bright side, I finally paid off my debt for my Soul Taker so all my future exalted are mine own!

Those are really hard mods, extremely hard actually, even Rainbows with bad RNG wouldn't save you there :p -Max res is propably the most dangerous mods in this game and that combined with Temp Chains and Magaera, it will not lead to anything good :p It is doable, yes surely is, but not with facetank mode enabled..

There was this one guy who promised 10 exalteds for the one who can make this Crematorium with -24% max res, double bosses and i cant even remember the rest mods, i took it and i won that 10 exalteds. It was just insanely hard, no way of standing still with -max res. I took Unwavering for precaution and even used Divination Distillate flask for extra 6% max resistances, still it was hard, 2 close calls which i was luckily able to survive :3 But take "normal" mods and put 2 bosses there, it's like walk in the park ^^

Now at higher level i don't bother to risk precious experience and always skip that boss if it has -max resistance mod, just too risky and frustrating to lose 2 days of gaming if the lord of rng is not smiling at you :P

edit. Switched back to Infernal Blow again and oh boy, it feels so good again after getting used to double strikes very low AoE range with only Splash gem :) Our regular party is providing such nice auras and well equipped chars that it's been quite safe to play even without Life Leech gem in sockets, but it's kinda suicidal when facing elemental reflects, so just for precaution again, i keep double strike + life leech in inventory for quick switch.
