I'm feeling it's going to be quite a nerf, but I think being able to run almost all the auras at the same time just wasn't right in the first place, so I'm fine with it. Really interested in what changes they are actually going to do to the auras though, can't wait!

i would like to put use to this 6l i have... i just wanted to know if an armor/es hybrid would be the better choice? Can the high armor roll on my 6l be a better choice cause you would get more energy shield regen off aegis due to % of armor regened as es mod? and wouldn't it help with my overall armor reduce making me more tanky? i noticed that you don't wear rainbowstrides and that ur armor has around 1xx energy shield... so i was thinkin of just getting some strides and id be at around the same es as you are? let me know thanks in advance :) edit: i dont know if op still posts here if anyone can help me appreciated Last edited by KissTheBlade#6849 on Oct 19, 2013, 7:32:09 PM

It's general consensus that a 1700 armor/250 ES chest is the best for this build. You only need armor up to a certain point because of diminishing returns on armor, and the fact that our ES regens on block. With the 1700/250 chest, your ES goes from ~1200 to ~1900, which provides more of an ES cushion for you. As for second best chest, imo I like the 600 armor/600 ES, then the 2300 armor for third.
I guess Rainbowstrides are a personal choice, but a few of us like them. I think the extra ~20% magic block is worth the tradeoff of more armor/health from normal boots. Especially late map bosses like Crematorium boss that just rains down firestorm on you, every single fireball from firestorm can be blocked. I man mode tank the firestorm, but it's pretty sketchy when your ES is jumping up and down like crazy. |

" I think you'll be fine if you just go for a hybrid with your gloves/helm to compensate for the loss of ES on the chest. As mentioned you want your total ES to be in the 1500-2000 range. If you get 30k armor, this would be 1200 es regen on block. |

" i dont think i can remove my helm or gloves :/ finding a helmet with good energy shield and life wont be easy and ill lose out on a lot of armor.. same with gloves and gloves can't really roll that high es anyway. if they do they will probably be gimped on other mods |

Hi, Dragon. Do you think this is a good chestpiece for the build? Highest stat brackets for armor, plus some energy shield to boot. I used a Saintly to offer a little extra ES to this build. I sacrificed health to this piece to get the hybrid roll for more armor. This is basically a pure defensive chest slot as I intended it to be. I will make up for missing health via all other items.

Is it a good chestpiece? Yeah, it's great. Is it the best? Nope, I'd never give up the 100 life. With all the life multipliers we get 100 life is almost 300 effective life. If we're shooting for max life in every slot possible, there's really no way to make up the absence of life on one piece.

That is indeed a great chest. But alas, life is pretty important. There is one bit of hope, however. I thought I saw somewhere that on release, players will be getting an extra 1 hp per level. This could make up for the lack of hp on an item, but there are just so many of our items that lack hp already. Hp is still a strong factor even though we are rarely dipping into it these day.
