Er...
That unique map wouldn't happen to contain a cranky undead sorcereress, would it? Last edited by SkullX#7798 on Jun 26, 2012, 6:20:46 AM

" The problem, I think, comes in when you try out a new build. I like to try out many new and wacky builds, and after playing through the main game a bunch of times, I think I'll get tired of having to play through the game twice with the every time I make a new char in order to get to the maps, where testing your latest build will be the most fun and interesting. If you have maps after your char has played through the game only once, you can try your char on new maps earlier, and lvling will be more fun, as you will have new places to level up each playthrough. |

wow, I bow down in awe :D
I see my 100$ were well spent. Now I really have the motivation to bring my current char to lvl 60, although I don't know how long I can push that build to it's limits. Just one thing came to my mind when you talke about the brick wall in the dev diary: Why not have a seperate brick wall in addition to the new maps system? That way you could put the uber-high level gear to use. The way the system is currently designed, you play maps to be able to play more maps. Would be awesome if playing maps (for quite a long time) would in the end result in the ability to beat the ultra hard brick wall difficulty or better extra level (like the discussed Never Ending Dungeon perhaps :D). But hell yeah, this endgame is going to be awesome. Calculating how many players get in, to maximize portal effectiveness, combining map related items from all members of a party, the awesomeness of showing off your unique map in global chat... That other game lost, simple as that. |
