Common Suggestions and Feedback (with Dev Responses)
Is it possible to make share for my account? I would like to show my friend on other forum my items but don;t know how to do it.
How about making internal site on which we can see what items we use and make an easy share to others? About gold and trading - just do a trade window (or drop me a hint if there is any) - adding gold will not help people with global trade. Or try something like forum gold from d2jsp, but stay in touch with users and check if rhe prices aren't getting "crazy". An at all - how about players who use bad language? Is it possible to mark what they write with "****"? Mostly there is problem with too young guys from Poland, who in order to get atention from the other use "ku**a" and other stuff. I am from Poland and tbh - this game can be way more avesome without k*rwa on the screen. :) |

" I agree, but not only Polish kids do that. I imagine it would be pretty hard to mark every vulgarism in every possible language. A lot of not needed work, becouse you can always simply not play with these guys or if they speak like this on global chat, hide global chat if thats any problem for you. In a case, when you for example show this game to your kid and dont want him/her to see "kurwa" on the screen. Solution is easy. Pick game with less gore involved :P |

Life has gotten in the way of me being online often recently. Sick mother-in-law and needing to pick up extra hours to cover expenses. I hope to update this thread soon. Thank BrecMadak with some interesting info in your PM.

sorry if some of them are already discussed / posted (dont have time to read all posts). I attended to the beta test and here what I see in the game:
* chat text is very big, bold and overlapping other windows (for example when buy/sell window is open, chat & other windows overlap and very difficult to read) * minimap and regular map quality is not good (if not terrible :) * sometimes monsters are disappearing when they follow me a bit... * my character is throwing arrows below my mouse pointer... * arrows stuck in the air... looks funny... * arrows hit on enemies looks funny... like sticked with a glue :) * monsters animations are not good... looks like they are not moving but someone is dragging them... * my character is blended with rest of monsters not so visible * waypoints are not so visible (check D3, they have nice lights on it) and when you hover it, borders of waypoints does not look nice... * player stash should be 6 slot height (multiple of 3)... * some items does not stack... they should stack automatically... when I collect gems, they should go under same slot not different slots (3 gem, 5 gem, 10 gem >>> 18 gems in one slot) * to wear some gear, one click should be enough, drag drop is not good... * when we try to sell some items, place holder for item should be barely visible... right now when I drag something or ctrl+click on item it goes to sell window, but also visible in stash and very difficult to distinguish it from the rest of the items... * slots on items looks funny, make them less visible (check D3, when you hover it, they become more visible). Right now all gears looks like pilot heads with huge glasses on it :) * a right click on an unidentified item may identify it automatically if we have scroll... right now, right click on scroll and then left click on item is too much work :) * all scrolls look similar... or looked same to me, may be different shapes... * when we hover an item, it should show us how much to sell (an estimate) * show system clock (+ maybe login duration) on screen * show character class in character window... I could not find what class I selected for my character (then somebody joined to my game and I saw that I am a ranger in party window I guess) * and I could not get the idea of not using gold or some currency, but use gems/scrolls instead of them... This confuses most of the users and makes trades difficult... Maybe you should review this logic again and switch to some kind of currency (or I could not get current system is better than any gold/currency system) thats all for now... good luck... |

So, hello everybody, this is not gameplay suggestion, it's related to giving beta keys.
It's easy to check whether guy who is currently gaining a key logged over last 3-4 months or not. The idea is, should guys receive their beta keys if they only registered and logged JUST once (and it happend long time ago)? Thanks ;) |

I have a suggestion on ladders and statistics, maybe make something like http://www.diabloprogress.com/ ladder rankings? It would be fun to see other characters, their items, rank level of dps, level of gear etc. I love watching my numbers and comparing it to the others :) Right now there is only level ladder, but i hope you add a lot more!

Wow, thank you for taking the time to compile this list!
I just wanted to say I am glad to see that a lot of quality of life items are in store, as well upgraded animations etc. GGG has done a truly marvelous job, my friend who is kind of an outsider to PC gaming (xbox) and hence no nostalgic bias likes this game way more then Diablo 3. I Myself, who put 250+ hours into diablo 3, think that this game has better graphics, better atmosphere, and better core mechanics. I know, we all hate the comparisons, but this David vs Goliath parallel amazes me. I am spreading the word about this game as much as I can amongst my gaming friends, may this game live on. Real quick, MOST IMPORTANT thing to me right now is item variety, the visuals are meh on the items. Was really disappointed to get a unique axe, and the picture looked not bad, equipped it and.... Ugh looked like a low level axe. Maybe I am shallow, but the best part besides becoming powerful, is looking powerful. That is really the only serious thing I feel is missing. Otherwise, wow keep up the good work and I am so excited to see how the game progresses! |

Hi guys, i am a huge fan of rpg games like this and i have many hopes in this game for it to be my new big game after diablo 2. I play those kind of games for more than 10 years and i want to share my experience with the game developers to make this game the best game ever for the next 5-6 years. My personal advice for the start:
1. the most important thing i want in the game is that developers feel interested in the progress and feedback of the players and to continue the development after the game full release - the way it looks like now adding 1 major patch with content once at 6 month (1 full act once per year and maps/boss new mechanic, may be some +10 max level and some extra skill tree skills) is just perfect 2. the game visuals look ok but there is still much hard work to do, i know you want to add special visual features like in lol for pay users but still most of the characters look unpolished. I think the most important fact in a weapon design is to be elemental imbued, all weapons should get this feature for free. Also most of the high end weapons and armor should look "cool" in order for players to feel ok with their char. You could add some special "skins" for weapons and armor that are not free that look "super cool" but still make free to play items "cool". I have come with an alternative to this because i think it will work out better. You could just make items with "random" skins and add "super cool skins" items to modify the items you got in exchange for pay credits. I don't like the idea of weapon teer in diablo 3 because except legendary items endgame items got only 1-3 skins. If you make it the same like in diablo 2 it would be much better for you (because you could sell skins) and for players because they could get lucky and they could get a nice stat/good looking item. Whatever you chose to do please make all weapons "ELEMENTAL ENCHANTED" for free users because they just look a loot more cool. Please add more visual effects like exploding and knock back effects to make the game more cool. 3. do not turn this game into a pay to play game like other games with AH had 4. you can add more class identity by increasing the drop that the player receive in terms of spells (ex: marauder get 80% red drop spells) 5. the atmosphere is great, keep it out, do not add extra fast monsters or some other features that will ruin the actual gameplay. For example if you are a ranger you run slow and shoot. If you reduce stun/root duration it will ruin the gameplay. Your intention is to make a game that is not too hard for the player and not too easy too feel like a challenge. End game should not be too hard for the player and should consist in boss runs and not just random grinding. 6. a way to improve end game boss runs besides the "rare map drop" is to add some special crafting items for unique items that you can craft. Nothing feels like crafting a nice item and it would be nice to craft it from "scraps" then just try to add some extra rare propriety. Buying an item from vendor and turning into a rare is not the same thing. It feels more rewarding the other way. Not to make this too OP you can do this with second best items in the game. |
|
Add a group of items between rares and uniques. Those items have random stats that are choosen by looking to the stats the character uses. A CI-witch will not find a headpiece with health regeneration for example. Currently you have a 12,5% chance to find an item that suits your charactertype. From experience I can say that from those 12,5% just 25% is usefull for the build and close to 0% has exactly the stats I'm looking for. That's frustrating and degrades the fun I have with this game. A new group of items with better stat-choosing would solve my problem. I'm not looking for OP, but just meaningfull stats on my rares.
