Kinda unique, I haven't seen anyone else use it yet.

Double totem Firestorm/summon build. I use a summon Skeleton totem, a Firestorm totem (or sometimes just 2 firestorm totems), and I firestorm as my primary damage ability (right click). Other spells used are Clarity, elemental weakness, and fireball with increased stun chance.

The really unique thing about this build is the double totems as a Fire witch.

One of my favorites i have made so far is my freeze witch, lots of crit and lots of freezing. She is pretty defensive, great at controlling a big crowd, and just as good at taking out the bosses

Key passives: Whispers of Doom, Hex Master, Chaos Inoculation

Main Spells:
Freezing Pulse w/ lesser added proj, crit dmg, lightning dmg
Ice Spear w/ lesser added proj, crit dmg
Ice Nova w/ ele proliferation, faster cast, crit dmg

Auras:
Discipline
Clarity

Support spells and Curses:
Frost Wall
Lightning Warp
Temporal Chains
Ele Weakness

I usually spam my curses, group everything up, and mash on the freezing pulse or ice nova spell, depending on the situation. Ice spear is great for taking out the ranged enemies and frost wall is excellent for stopping any projectiles from hitting me or keeping a hard hitting boss away from me.

I like the combo of evasion and energy shield right now but i am still a bit undecided whether or not i want to go full energy shield

When I look at the skill tree I get the impression that all builds must be unusual. I would like to see a video of a vanilla build.
Ice crit witch is pretty vanilla. Blood magic melee marauder with resolute technique is pretty vanilla. Multishot ranger pretty vanilla.
Time for another doozy of a post, sorry! Short version + Detailed bolded-keyword versions below:

The character is currently in Ruthless and can be played as described below; after the next patch, he should be even better, but works just fine until then. :)

The idea of the character is to buff allies with auras while debuffing enemies with curses. In addition, he has a unique ability to keep enemies almost 100% incapacitated through the use of Temporal Chains and a high chance to freeze/chill (as well as Enfeeble).

EDIT: This build uses a lot of curses which require the use of 2 Unique Doedre's Damning, Paua Rings. I have obtained both, but I sometimes move them around between characters.

Spoiler
PinkTaric the Support Templar can be played solo or in groups. He is most effective in a group, as his primary role is obviously to support other allies. However, he can still manage alone (albeit more slowly than a character more tuned towards solo play). His DPS is a bit lacking, but he makes up for it in a number of ways:

Once weapon swapping is released, I imagine he will be able to fit all of these spells into his spell slots - if weapon swapping doesn't work the way I'm imagining it will, I can simply drop one of the curses, and the build will effectively remain the same.

I considered using Power Siphon over his default attack, then adding Conduit into his build, but I found he didn't have the mana to manage Power Siphon effectively, and the charges were difficult to keep up on a low-dps character.

1) Auras - Haste, Discipline, and Clarity. Running all of these leaves PinkTaric with a minimal amount of mana, but enough mana-regen that he can spam his curses and Freezing Pulse without much worry. These are buffed on himself using the passive nodes Inner Force and Buff Effects.

2) Curses - This build allows for a total of 4 permanent curses at one time. This is accomplished with unique Paua Rings and the passive skill Whispers of Doom. The primary curses used are Temporal Chains and Elemental Weakness. These two are highly important; I'll explain why further down. The other two curses are Enfeeble and Critical Weakness - these two will hopefully become usable on the build with the addition of weapon swapping.

3) Freeze/Chill - PinkTaric's "DPS" spell is Freezing Pulse. I would have gone with Cold Snap, but the mana cost would not be easily manageable on this build, I fear. In addition, Freezing Pulse can be cast so much more quickly, effectively giving more chances to freeze/chill anyway.

The Elemental Weakness curse not only increases Elemental damage done to cursed enemies, but also increases the chances of status ailments taking effect; This is important in order for PinkTaric to freeze enemies more often. Temporal Chains is fantastic as a defensive spell, but also increases the duration of Freezing/Chilling on enemies as these effects are technically debuffs (or so I'm lead to believe).

By combining these two spells and laying out a constant stream of Freezing Pulse, PinkTaric is nearly able to keep enemies perma-frozen. Critical Weakness will allow for more criticals (in order to freeze more often) while Enfeeble acts as a secondary form of defense - it's especially useful when there are enemy archers around.

Of course, the curses/auras can be swapped (swapping Critical Weakness for Projectile Weakness, for example) according to party needs, but these are the ones which work best with PinkTaric's build.

Char Name: MaxTheLimit
Class: Witch
Build style: Bloodmagic sword and board melee
Link to skill tree: LINK

Primary attack: Double Strike with life gain on hit
Secondary attack: Cleave with life gain on hit
Movement: Leap Slam

Supplementary Skills: Anger and Wrath auras both used to increase damage. Decoy totem, and rejuvenation totem used to increase survivability in mob groups. Critical weakness being levelled for tougher mobs.

General notes: Build is still in early stages. Just about half way through Act 1 on Cruel. Invested heavily into life, and life regeneration. Most of my gear increases life recovered per second. Goals right now are to work towards the lower nodes on the skill tree. Just starting to take shape now.

Needs: Resistances will be a key soon, and some higher level gear may be needed soon as well. Will be getting the Agility node soon to allow for open access to higher level swords.

Thoughts?

Just curious, why a Witch? It doesn't seem like you're using anything specific near the Witch starting area, so you could probably get more passives out of another character as a starting point. Also doesn't look like you're using INT at all, so the additional starting stats are wasted.

Well just for something different for the most part. Just to see if it was workable. It is close to blood magic, and close to crit damage and chance as well. This will be an upcoming investment.

Mostly though just wanted to see how it would go starting from the upper portion of the tree, and moving towards the bottom of the tree.

Yes, I'm not really getting much from those 4 int nodes, but, that's not a huge waste to get where I wanted. May look at picking up elemental damage, or crit focussed, or to challenge myself might just stick right with physical damage to REALLY challenge myself later.

Name : Existential
Class : Marauder
Role : Multiplayer ONLY Support Tank

This character is quite fun despite not being able to kill anything and not being able to play solo because of poor DPS. There are no gimmicks, no unique items or other fancy gear. He uses 4 auras and Conduit to support his allies. The usual Auras are Vitality and Clarity, and the others can be switched around as needed. Currently he uses Anger and Wrath and sometimes Determination. Other alternatives will be used once they are acquired.

Basic Gameplay goes like this: Run ahead of the teammates and spam Enduring Cry. This ensures that everyone gets a defense boost and all the aggro is on me. Then I throw down a totem - Rejuvenation totem so I can stay alive if my teammates havent caught up yet or a Detonate Dead totem if they've already started killing. Detotate Dead is my totem of choice for a few reasons:
1) It gets rid of bodies that could be resurrected by Necros or blown up by Alira
2) A Level one gem is all you need to deal a substantial amount of damage which keeps the cost down and keeps the DEX requirement low for a mostly pure STR Mara
3)It can actually kill things and grant me Flask Charges that I never would have gained otherwise.
After the totem is down, it's time to attack using Frenzy. Once Frenzy Charges are maxed, just alternate between using Frenzy and Enduring Cry to keep the aggro on you and all your teammates charged up. That's all there is to it.

Notable passives to take are:
1) Conduit - Spamming Enduring Cry and Frenzy grants all your teammates 15% Attack and Cast Speed, 15% Elemental Resistance and Damage Reduction.
1) Resolute Technique - Needed to ensure Frenzy hits. You can't give teammates Frenzy Charges if you're constantly missing.
3)Blood Magic - This build has a generous amount of Life and Life Regen and can use a lot more Auras than if he just used Mana with possible Blood Magic Support Gems.
4)Aura passives - The reduced mana reservation and increased radius are invaluable. Ranged characters can stand further back while still benefiting from your aura effects.

This character is nowhere near complete. It won't be until around lvl 60. But it's super fun and quite dangerous. Bear in mind it is meant to be played in a party, the more players the better, and usually 4-6 is when this build shines.

Currently im testing bow maruder which i want to use in open beta. Its working around iron grip and blood magic, having life gain on hit support gems connected with attack skills (fire arrow, split arrow and arrow rain). Later i want also to take conduit keystone to boost teammates. Im aiming for % renenerated life per second to prevent loosing life during blood rage. I also need more life nodes to increase hp.

In future it will look like this:
