This is an awesome idea, just watched the first one and that is why the skill gem system is the best one yet, I mean common teleporting totems XD
keep up the good work and good luck with the rest of developement.
Maybe this Is the first spellcaster Marauder that does Its attempt to be the "Build of the week".

His name Is MORDEKAlSER: A Double-wielder specter Marauder spellcaster, with Its main focus on crowd control skills and spells. Just like In MOBAs, his role Is to protect his "Nexus", wich Is, "himself" (Yeah, he's a pretty crazy fella) with Frost Wall, Temporal chains and his fellow twin totems that gives him a huge crowd control, with improved chill, frozen effects and knockback. Plus, a 25% chance to shock enemies that gives him a huge boost on damage while enemies are on shock. And phase run, incase something goes "wrong". "Conversion trap" Is also there too, to "troll" those that tries to stand amongst the unbeatable MORDEKAISER.

This can be improved even further with more chill and frozen, plus criticals to enhance the chances for frozen, chill -and- shock to pop altogether. Also, iron will, for a short boost In spell damage. And more knockback, to push even further the crowd control effects.

Possible Drawbacks: Can die really quick If caught unaware. "Unique" bosses can't be frozen/chilled or shocked, leaving only to "knockback" gaining effect.

Build (Lv 100): Click here.

I don't have anything positive to say about these videos. Actually the marauder one is OK as it is based around skills and items that any player can have.

Templar and Witch one are really deceiving to the general public as both those Unique items and totem support are rare as fuck. By looking at these videos one might make a mistake and think the whole game is as fun as those builds.

As soon as GGG makes most other skills more fun and already fun skills and unique items more available to more players then these videos make sense.

Here is the link to my Shadow's build. He is a dual-dagger character specializing in Critical Strike - meaning both Crit Chance and Crit Damage Multipliers. If my math is correct, and I've redone it several times though it might not be, he's pulling 1060.668 damage per second (critting) with Double Strike and has an 81% chance to crit. Since I attack twice per second, Dual Strike effectively attacks FOUR times per second, ensuring a kill on all white monsters I've encountered.
He's level 26..I hope you like the build and think that it is special and interesting..

These Items are easily available if you bother to do some trading. The only thing GGG should therefore add is better trading. And thats already on their todo list.

It's impossible that he has 81% crit strike chance atm. You only get 75% increased chance from your passives atm, which is multiplicative. So, let's say you got a 10% base crit chance dagger. 75% of base 10% is 7.5%. 10%+7.5%= 17.5% crit strike chance.

So please explain how you get to 81%? :O

(It's not additive!!!)

Yes that is funny. In my last 5 attempts to trade I got nothing. And I asked for different non-quality support gems. No stuff like totem or unique items.

Trading for quality skill gems is OK, trading for standard gems is crap for this kind of game that is proud of giving players many options to create character.

Well my Cold Caster Shadow by lvl 42 didn't get Increased Critical Chance support, Frost Wall, Totem, Increased Duration support, Reduced Mana Duration support, Mana Leech and other possible useful skills and supports. Also nobody wants to trade for those or they ask for other equally hard to get supports or gems which I of course don't have.
Not to mention I got 0 useful quality skill gems. BTW I got two other characters as well since last wipe and this collection of missing gems is their work as well, so it is not just time it took to get this one character to lvl 42.

Not to mention I had the same problem from the start through all the wipes. I got a bit lucky in last version of default league in getting some lucky drops but that is it.

Using skills that randomly drop to play with was not fun in Diablo 1 15 years ago and it is not fun today.

That is your opinion. I find it more enjoyable than every class has it's fixed skills.

Yes, I like that I don't have fixed skills but that does not mean you need to have random skills.

Check out my summoner who uses clarity to stack auras.
The char is called ZombieDogging
