Show us your interesting characters and be featured on our YouTube channel!

Nothing interesting, just the run of the mill Chaos Inoculation elemental shadow, running Split arrow with tons of elemental damage/attack speed.

Just running auras, blood rage and just relying on my massive damage to take everything down before I get hurt.

Might aswell post it.. just a ordinary build.

Passives

Aaaaand names Smugface, if you wondered. D:

(Phermi)
Ok, ready to show off my character:

LaserBeamsPewPew:
5X Witch using Daggers and Lightning Strike

Currently deals around 4000 DPS in ranged damage laser beam spam (17 lightning projectiles per second). Deals 2k single target dps with flicker strike. Utilizes Totem tied to Elemental Weakness to curse large blobs of elemental resistance mobs. Whirling Blades for quick getaways. Has Chaos Inoculation, and thus Frenzy for all that fun. ~20% crit chance on LS, 30% crit chance on flicker strike.

Still in the low 50s and can handle everything on merciless with no difficulty.
TehHammer is not a crime!

Really great series! Looking forward to more entries.
My chars probably crap compared to being able to deal 5k dps at lvl 5x, but ill show you my char anyway:

Attrition (He came first in an event, and I continued playing him) level 45 in Hardcore league
Please feel free to critique if you think its bad/good
Skills and hotkeys
Attrition Hotkeys:

Skill Choices:
Left Click - Burning arrow:
Linked with Weapon elemental damage, good single target damage
Right Click - Frenzy:
Linked with Lesser & Greater multiple projectiles, allows me to gain frenzy charges on hit without aiming
Middle mouse button - Warlords mark:
Allows me to gain endurance charges & a quick way to refill flasks if running on empty
Q - Poison arrow:
Linked with Lesser multiple projectiles & Projectile speed:
Having chaos damage, good for extra damage while kiting & is applied to a large area (probably not that unique though)
W - Phase run:
Great movement skill, can kite even the fastest of mobs
E - Puncture:
Linked with Peirce, great for added damage for single targets. The peirce is used so nothing can get in your way if you are focusing on your target. Most useful is versing necromancers that always hang back & keep resurrecting skeletons that always seem to be in the way.
R - Totem Ethereal knives:
Great supporter/decoy
T - Grace:
Because of my passive skills, this aura adds armour for me, bringing my damage reduction to 71%

Noteworthy skills: Can easily generate both endurance & frenzy charges for party members, Evasion converted to armour, very high movespeed (goes up to 76%), has many types of damage.

Ioncuff is my rarefind-zookeeper, and is very fun and interactive at all times.

Itemization revolves around how to get the most increased item quantity and rarity, while passive skills deal with defenses and attack, by getting as many minions as possible and a little bit of Firestorm/Aura enhancement.

I get a ton of Increased Item Rarity from these boots:

I am always low life because of a Blood Magic support gem and an accompanying aura.

Panicked Flasks have synergy with my low life, though with Clarity aura I never need them. I picked up Pain Attunement as well.

It's super fun to be support in parties, because teammates are always amazed at the piñatas that rare monsters become. I also have wide area auras which help the minions and teammates. And having the minion-spam tanking the big-bad-boss is always a relief.

I have Culling Strike support for my skeleton spam totem, it is invaluable. Times when I'm not attributed a kill can really ruin a perfectly good boss fight, the minion explosion "damage" is bugged and I don't get loot sometimes, or even credit for quests.

My defense is my wall of bone and rotted flesh. Ioncuff is super squishy versus most everything, and this has made me give up on energy shield passives completely and rely on my minions for interference.

For faster enemies who like to run around the wall of bone, I use Temporal Chains, Phase Run and kite them into the group again.

Edited: level 66

Here's video #3! Thanks, CrackingSkull!

I'm really enjoying going through your builds, guys. There will be more to come - but keep submitting if you have new ones that I haven't seen yet. I'm selecting from both new and old.

Next week I want to do something super complicated. Any recommendations?

Complicated in terms of hard to play or just very crazy?

Because you must show of the iron man build!
Also we all want to see you die ingame you are like immortal!
Chris if you want a complicated to play character you could try my glass cannon witch, named "feygigglingbuffalo". She has 3 diamonds and 1 granite flask on a nearly pure offensive (800hp at level 62) witch, relying on flicker, sweep and high crit chance and damage to kill things very very quickly. But if you don't kill things quickly... she perishes! Also has enduring cry, blood rage, crit vulnerability.

Also quite interesting because she is a melee with zero defensive keystones, and doubly so because she is a witch running deep into the other side of the passive tree!

She is focused almost entirely on physical damage (no elemental bonus from gear), but uses hatred aura so that her crits freeze groups of monsters solid to provide some protection - turning her increased aoe sweep into an aoe cc move. Because she uses a 2-hander, she cannot simply flicker spam her way through huge groups - she has to target ranged monsters and uniques first, and she needs to use her diamond flasks to ensure her mana income remains high during fights as she only has 1% mana leech. It's a totally different experience to any other character I've played - by far the most tactical, oddly, because I have to use my granite flasks way in advance or get gibbed. Chaos is, er, a project in progress... Fellshrine is pretty much a solved problem though ;)

It's pretty sad you can only do fellshrine at lvl62...
My melee witch from last week can handle it at lvl52 :p
If I remember correctly, you made a thread about this build, with a video. You should link it here.

I was pretty disappointed the other day, I reached maelstrom of chaos with my ranger at lvl56, (it had been a long time since the last time I had seen chaos) and I was already able to clear a full area without dying. The gap isn't as big as I thought.
The build isn't very interesting or complicated, but I'll submit it here anyway, since no ranger have been featured yet.

The character is called Lirzh, a lvl57 ranger. She is relying on pure elemental damage and criticals with a fast bow.
Since she has "arcing blows" passive, she is using 2 versions of lightning arrow for damage :
- the first is a lvl1 lightning arrow with weapon elemental damage and critical damage (or added lightning but I need sockets). This attack can hit 3 targets so I'm using it for single target damage or for small packs of 2-3 mobs. Since it's lvl1, it has a moderate mana consumption.
- the second is a full leveled lightning arrow (5 targets total) with lesser multiproj, pierce and mana leech. This attack is completely overpowered against big packs because each mob can get hit and shocked many times. Mana leech makes it self-sufficient.It's also very enjoyable to destroy an entire screen of mobs with it :D Screenshake gets a bit crazy sometimes ^^

This OPness is strenghtened by the projectile weakness curse. With it, the multi lightning arrow has 100% pierce and good knockback. Since the mobs get hits several times, they always get knocked back :D

To deal with hard yellow mobs, she has bear trap and conversion trap.

Finally, she has two auras, wrath for more lightning damage, and grace for evasion. Her defense is full evasion with little shield. With 1700 hp and 200 shield, it works perfectly fine. I don't understand why people say armor is better and necessary.

I've theorycrafted many characters to submit them for this series, but it takes quite a lot of time to level them up. So I hope this series will last for a long time :D
