Z's **0.9.12** LS CI GR! Spec

Soooo the new dagger class to replace my favored Ambusher is a Royal Skean. Well I found one with an ilvl of 67. Annnd after a few chaos
this happened. Its silly silly silly op with this spec. I share this because its the spec & ls link that do all the work. The right weapon sets it the fk off.

This is probably a mid-high lvl roll for this dagger. It doesnt even have IAS! Or great damage values! & its breaking endgame roflolol. Im dual wielding & using whirling blades to move around defensively. All it needs is faster attacks & mana leech.

There is much more dmg potential for this spec. Were all Sith now kthx.

my Whirlwind blades on action!

I tried a wand (power-syphon) build and came across a LS shadow who had double my dps (mid level 30s). Rerolled right after and have been loving my LS shadow since.

I have noticed many posters having mana issues while leveling. For my leveling, I am using a somewhat similar strategy as my wand-build and am heading for the 8% increased mana and 40% increased mana regen nodes by the witch starting point right away; there are obvious little detours along the way (arcing blows, increased shock, might).



I have found that crit stikes are usually 1-shotting mobs (even in party play) and am holding off on Addler's touch for the time-being. Nightstalker, Freeze, and Blaze are next on priority before I head for Addler's touch.

With the help of a low level clarity gem (kept at lvl 3 cause of the high reserve cost) I can easily spam LS with weapon elemental damage in the early level 20s already. I am in mid 30s now and am comfortably spamming LS with the Wrath, Clarity, and Discipline aura reserves hurting my mana pool.

Once I get mana leech I'll ditch clarity for anger (lower mana reserve cost than hatred). Once I get more physical dmg I'll grab Mind Drinker. Once I hit 1k ES I'll grab CI.

For those leveling this build, cheap paua rings/amulets with added lightning damage are very efficient dps and mana management boosts.

Thanks for the build, I think it is OP.

I like hearing a witch's perspective on this build. Having the two starting areas link was not an original goal, it just kind of happened.

How much EV/ES and dps you have right now, and which skills u using at the moment, ty.

My numbers are always going to be much lower than their potential because I never take off farming gear. These stats change constantly based on the situation. Once your gear improves & you level more you will notice how much dps overkill you have. I shave off this extra dps & replace it with quantity :)

As of right now:

Quantity: 134% Rarity: 160%

Energy Shield: 3k (with discipline)
Chance to Evade: 13%
Damage Reduction: 9%
Chance to block: 31%
Fire/Cold/Lightning Resists: 75/16/75

DPS: 4.1k
Mana Leech: 6% (3% phys/ 3% all)

I use lightning Strike, Whirling Blades & 4 auras.

Hatred/Wrath/Anger/Discipline using 2 separate links with reduced mana cost.

U mean 4.1K each projectile that equals = 12,3k on the LS icon? Or 4,1k / 3 ?

Another doubt of mine, you have only now 13% evade, is it worth it reduce evasion to increase ES? Can u link your equips so i can see where you're getting you ES from

In full dps overkill 1 shot most everything gear:

LS:
7600dps as it reads on the tooltip with anger / wrath / hatred.
8500dps with 3 Frenzy from Blood Rage.

46.8% Crit Chance
298% Crit Dmg

ES:
2660 with Discipline

As I mentioned, I move around ALOT using reaction time to maneuver myself around attacks & into position. This spec is not about slugging it out. Its about being tactical, cerebral & killing everything as soon as possible.

I have collected resistance rings with dps & MF for a long ass time. This allows to swap out items as needed per map. Resistances & a fair amount of ES or 2600-3k is enough.

Evasion shields are great, but i prefer armguards for the ES & some block chance.

I've been trying to follow this build for a little while. It looks like a really cool build, and it's been pretty fun to play. It has been a bit of a struggle lately though, mostly I think because I had no decent gear for Shadow, and I'm still trying to learn a lot of the mechanics. I'm currently in Act II of Ruthless.

I'm using the gold rings b/c I don't really have any others that help much, aside from one Paua ring that has good mana regen, but is otherwise unremarkable. Haven't found any with decent elemental damage support yet.

So what can I do to improve my current state? Where should I go next with passives? Any advice would be very welcome!
