[Retracted] WASD Movement
i have been testing PoE and i change my opinion, at first ponint, i give a +1 for the WASD movement, but now i preffer only mouse, its better for a isometric game.

WASD is more laggy for any game than mouse movement, which is the #1 reason why it should not be included (even as an option). That fact has a double whammy: the player won't have as responsive controls, AND the server will be under more load.

as a steady follower of blc(Bloodline Champions) I want this.
but only if implemented correctly. |

I've always been very sceptical about WASD movement options in ISO view H&S ARPGs..
but, I found out it really 'does' work for some games, if implemented the right way.. WASD movement should be 'optional' , adding to mouse movement, not replacing it, if you'd prefer mouse-only action.. it works fine for example in Mythos, and openes quite a few additional possibilities, as stated in the starting post by the OP.. it took me only a short time to get used to WASD movement in this type of game, and now I wouldn't want to ever miss it anymore (in PoE, for example) it's not more laggy, and especially not for any game.. at least for me it isn't.. especially on my ranged chars in PoE, i miss WASD movement really badly.. +1 to the idea member of clan-da.com and darkmatters.org

just adding my 2cents. i prefer the option - i want the asdw movement choice. i'm a old fps shooter and old habits are hard to change.

Will this be playable with a Razer nostromo? it has a little joystick.. would be nice to move around with that..

I think that there is no reason NOT to implement both wasd and point@click stlyle of gameplay and let people have the choice.

Sounds kina dumb idea tell ya the truth lol. Mostly cause of camera and the fact that game is isometric, camera is fixed to one position.
meh no matter really if its was optional you could use mouse or the WASD..
