You should rename it to solo ladder character statistics.


Just collecting solopoints says nothing about the skill.
Those players are players mainly using the same build over and over.

It's like saying the best Javazon/Hammerdin in terms of 1.10+ D2.


There are several high skilled players with less points.

Take devmoon for example. Many different builds and effective strategies. Popular streamers and dedicated players just watched his stream to copy strategies. First player beating Vaal Turbo in a 2h solo race.(Points 72.)


And if you sort it by class it wouldn't be after points either.
Kripparian is the most effective Templar player.

But if you go towards the witch IMDisappoint is the most effective long term Witch player while Powster is the most effective Shorttimed witch player.

If you take shadows the first name in mind is Invalesco but after copy pasting the FT PA build the competition got that big you can't name one build.

The most effective Maraplayers would be NotThat and Psyk and Panda didn't even log into OB.

If you want to find the most skilled player by races there must be some form of adaptation races.
Like one area has no projectile damage, the next one has no elemental damage, next no AoE damage, next is Turbo and BM etc. meaning you must create a really adaptable build or you will fail to progress for example not being able to kill brutus because that map got players do 100% less elemental damage.

why im not in it, find this very offensive

In other words, how can you define skill of a player from 1-3 hours races?

There might be someone who has 0 posts on forums and 0 points from races and be the best player :p

This has nothing to do with adaptation.

You know the rules beforehand.

Show me a player doing lethal as melee for example. Is there anybody?
Possibly but certainly not mentioned.

What would happen if you have only 1 chance during a race and can't mule gems to create more effective builds and it doesn't get announced till the race starts?


The most effective race builds are less affected by mods besides rangers/witches by no projectiles.

Adapting would mean you have a race with a modlist which is the same for everbody but not known to the players they see the mod as they progress.

Everyone can watch Kripp's stream yet very few manage to beat him in the several solo races. They can copy his exact build and compete with him when he is obviously very tired(since he tried participating in many races at the end) yet they still lose.

Call it what you want... ability to adapt, skill,knowledge of game mechanics, experience.. Kripp has more of it than his competition.
