Drop Rate doesn't match difficulty level now....
" This right here is the point. You shouldn't need Magic find to get a normal amount of gear to make progression possible. That's for farming only. Never said the game wasn't awesome.. I totally agree it's an amazing game however the major point to a Arpg is lots of gear and gear progression. I don't mind the drop rates on rares and uniques but blues should be in abundance. That's a staple part of any Arpg hoarding lots of loot. To kill a bunch of rare mobs and bosses and see next to no loot regardless of magic find on your gear is just unsatisfying for Arpg fans like me. Obviously the game isn't designed around me and I dont expect it to be, hence why I'm gonna take a break till they fix it or just move on completely. " You do realize it's a beta and we're giving feedback right? Save your whining for when it releases please. |

I didn t have any problems with the drop rates in general, I feel it is fine as it is.
I don t really care if a boss doesn t drop good stuff, I don t like farming bosses. I do know people like to do that for an easy kill and good drops. The faster the better. I ve been doing full cleans of each area and I ve had to go back to town twice in each because my backpack was full of blues to sell and maybe a few rares too, not to mention nice orbs and skill gems. I m not geared up in rarity % or item % and I m playing solo. Maybe the answer here is not to run bosses anymore, I believe the idea was to make players stop doing that and play full areas for the loot. Which I think is working perfectly fine. |

" It takes a real idiot to step into a beta feedback forum and mock people for providing their own beta feedback, ya know? Tool. By the way, magic find doesn't typically show up all over the place; what did you sacrifice to get that 68% bonus? Some of us would rather not have to wear burlap sacks and glass slippers just to improve our odds of finding slightly better burlap sacks and glass slippers. Magic find should provide a bonus above and beyond the game's reasonable default drop rate. But since PoE's default drop rates are anything but reasonable, this can't be the case. Again, I hate to have to say it, but reference Diablo 2 for an example of how magic find makes a good thing better instead of being an absolute necessity for finding a single good thing to begin with. |
