At the end of the day, there will be people (58,000 of them?) who have not been invited yet. Those 58,000 people will probably be upset regardless of what decisions we make to hand out keys.

I'd like to be invited, but I wont get upset if I cannot get into the beta.

Not because I just want to try the game, but because I only have a few hours to spend on the pc a week on games :P
I am glad to hear this Chris. I know abit about the game but not sure what type of "hard" questions you would ask. But anyways. What you guys are doing is fine. You can't make everyone happy and even if you did. I mean the Devs and support team going through all the bug tickets and whatnot would hate life lol.

Keep up the good work guys.
Also for all those still complaining! THERE IS ALWAY NEXT YEAR, THIS GAME WILL BEAT AND COME OUT BEFORE D3 SO CHHHHHHILLLLLLLAAAAXXXXXX!
Just a thought-
Its mandatory for success to seek publicity, but it might also be good business to sell some keys too (not sure how many people would buy them). I'm excited enough about this game to actually buy a beta key or account from someone (I've had at least 4 people offer to sell me theirs) and i keep on thinking that I'd rather pay GGG like $50 for a key to help keep the game up and running if there was a way to get a key for a donation.
I dont know, just a thought.

That would be good alot of people would buy them for sure. The thing is even in "donations" that is still selling getting something in return. It would go against their F2P reputation.

I dont know, i think you can argue either way. The donations are just to help keep the game developers up and running, and its not like we'd need anything extra, i just want to play this game for 5 months if its not going open beta anytime soon. I guess the way I look at it is, i'm probably going to buy a key/account from a random clown that got lucky, i'd rather just give the money to GGG instead.

People are just really excited about the game and frustrated knowing they have a chance to get in, but no certain way to know exactly when, which leads to all this venting.

I'm about just as hyped as most of them, even if the process of giving keys is slow, it doesn't make the game any worse. Hopefully I'll have a chance to try it eventually (like we all do).
well my reasoning for wanting to get in the beta if purly to help give good feedback to help make this game the vest game on the net. I am currently unemployeed and can devote several hours a day to help give the proper feedback on anything that is needed to be tested in the game and have no problem doing what is asked. I really hope to have a chance to help you all with the game and look forward to playing and giving all the feedback I can.

Chris l tell you why people are pissed on your system to distribute keys.If they viewer in invitations registration date August. And what is the funniest thing even veterans are largely people registered in August. I even saw someone registered on August 10 as veteran. Chris think only as feel the people who follow the game from half a year or longer. And people like me who do not use social networking sites, it is called discrimination.I am angry with such people have a much greater chance of winning than I do the key, even though they learned about the game yesterday.Do there be fair system according to you Chris ?

sorry for my bad English
