Thank you very much for that, I asked like 10 people prior to making this guide how to do that and no one knew the answer...Build guide has been updated :)

Hi there.

Whats the point of Inner Force?

"The Inner Force and Buff Effect passives increase the bonuses from buffs that affect yourself. It does not increase damage dealt from buffs as it is something that affects enemies."

Doesnt apply to Anger and Wrath.

This is false man, Inner Force DOES affect your damage auras such as anger and wrath, and although they are marginal, (i think I gained around 150 dps from the 3 nodes) the main focus of inner force is to make grace more powerful which results in slightly better defense which allowed me to remove my points from leather and steel.

So the bonus to wrath and anger is a nice bonus :)

hey, i really like your guide. even a newbie like me understand the idea (=
my question, is it viable to give 2 points for leather and steel at the begining

GREAT question, and your the first to ask. The answer depends on which league you play. I started out on Hardcore before I died, and yes I did use those 2 talents right from the start. Defense and survivability is so crucial on hardcore those talents are practically a must have from the start.

When I died due to my video card crashing to a black screen, I removed those points on softcore once I reached Inner Force (as inner force scales your grace aura) and utilized them for other things. I felt that when I died. my gear was so excellent that I had enough armor + not being afraid of death anymore + having finally reached inner force, that it wasn't worth it for me. I am currently doing great in 74 maps with 7000 armor without those talents. Once I find a 77+ map, if things get a bit hairy I can always go back to those talents.

If you are doing well on hardcore, I would keep those talents until you at least get to inner force, and if your gear is still sub par upon reaching it, I would continue keeping those 2 talents until you get a nice 2k evasion chest plus awesome other pieces.

TLDR
Softcore = not really necessary
Hardcore = Definitely worth is until Inner Force is reached and gear is better then average :)

okay, so a new guy like me should pick those 2 talents. Because my gear is not gonna be "perfect" soon (: Thank you for explanation.

Hey dude, I was going to do something like this prior to the newest passive changes but lost interest around lvl 30. Then new passives, and I found your spec, it was prefect. Now I'm lvl 52 and ransacking everything. I have been using a ranged totem with ice arrow just because i had it laying around along with projectile weakness - and it works great. I'm going to have more sockets soon so i was wondering:

What other skills did you use besides the main ones you listed?

Thanks mang.

Hey thanks for checking out the build. I did a bit of experimenting with ranged attack totem and found it quite neat and kinda fun, but it became a burden in maps very quickly. The thing I like the most about my build is the fact (next to Krips freeze pulse build) its one of the top fastest speed farming builds out there. Get yourself some movement spee boots (30%) and a couple flasks and you plow through levels so fast many others have a hard time keeping up.

So having to cast ranged totem over and over, and keeping it up between packs bece very daunting as it slowed me down considerably. Also even with moderate gear you can decimate packs very quickly meaning you don't need the totem. So ya it's cool and fun but ultimately is a time sink for the build.

As far as other abilities I use:
LMP+Poison Arrow+added cold/chaos/fire depending on mob resist

Although poison arrows damage is kinda crap, I always keep the combo on hand for those really hard mobs I can't face tank. For example piety in the temple. I usually run in and fire poison, and run out, rinse and repeat. Avoids being killed and safely/slowly eats away her health under her shield. There are other situations like vulnerability+lower player resists maps I do. Any crazy caster mobs ill use poison arrow to ensure I don't die. So it comes in handy for those especially harder maps I need to kite in.

I also keep a bunch of different curses ready and on hand in my inventory at all times. They include:
-enfeeble
-temporal chains
-conductivity
-ele weakness (the one I use the most)

I also keep a level 20 gem of added chaos in case I find lightning resist mobs I can swap out added lightning for it.

Being prepared for even the easiest maps can make you an unstoppable force with my build :)
Cool man thanks for Info. So other than 2x Beartrap, LA, Frenzy, Poison Arrow and a curse that's really all you use?

The totem is coming in handy in situations now at lower level (when i'm having guys come from all angles and it covers my flank) - but i definitely see what you mean about slowing you down. I'm in need of some upgrades with my items then it will make things go a lot smoother.

Happen to have any lvl 50ish gear in your stash for sale? ;)

Just wanna stop by to say thanks for the awesome, easy to use build.

This is my first real character. My past attempts left me struggling to get out of act 2. This one has just tore though. Currently lvl 42 on act 2 cruel. Still having a good time. Think I'm gonna take it all the way to build up wealth and gear for other character attempts. Also, it's helping me grasp the passive tree.

Thanks again.
If I die before him, I want my friends and family to get Morgan Freeman to do my Eulogy. There would be no higher honor. Well, maybe Christopher Walken...

If for some reason PoE fails I'm gonna go make my own ARPG, with Blackjack, and Hookers®. In fact, forget the ARPG.

Hey you are very welcome and I am glad you like it. This build is a fantastic build to take all the way as its only rivaled by freeze pulse marauder for speed and efficiency. The main difference is mine doesn't take 50 exalts worth of gear to be as effective like Krips :) and when farming end game, you want a fast farming and successful build.

Make sure you checked out the final point link to see where those 2 12% life nodes were. I didn't have time to change all the links but I suggest you grab those right away on your way up to marauder tree :)

Happy hunting
Guess I could ask a few questions:

Is chain a quest reward or random drop?

What's a good life pool to have before taking Blood Magic? I only had 1012ish when I took it, have to kite a lot and I feel squishy. But, I could not keep skills going at all without is. 5 or six LA shots and I was hittin the flasks hard. Not sure if I should go back for the survivability.

LA is my lowest DPS skill currently, haven't socketed anything but LMP and faster projectiles with it. Rain of arrows in my Life gain on hit skill. Much higher dps, good AoE. But, I'm sure there is a better skillset to use until I can make LA rock. Any thoughts?

Is Frenzy good? Haven't really used it since I got into a groove with LA and RoA.

I think I covered this already but ill elaborate again :).

I went into blood magic fairly early (I didn't rush for it, but I did get it on the way after I hit Iron Grip). You should NOT be 5 linking any ability until end game. You won't even be able to support your skills without using a flask with a 4 link until 3500 health :p

So what I do is use split arrow until mid 30s (while leveling lightning arrow and LMP in the process. When I hit blood magic I keep it to a 3 link until around the 40s. So if your going to use LA, as I stated in my build description, I didn't actually use chain until 50-60 when my life an regen was good. Just use LA, LMP and weapon ele until then. For the first 30-40 levels you WILL have to use flasks regardless. But you should not be using a 5 link till the 60-70s or 4k+ health.

Also do not use faster attacks. Attacking faster eats your health even faster cause your getting more shots fired. You should have enough attack speed with your Passives and a thicket. Faster attacks is overkill.

Frenzy is great for end game cause the 3 charges is huge boost to attack speed allowing you to decimate large packs in seconds with LA
Also chain is a drop, you cannot get it from a quest on any character.
