(HC/SC) Facebreaker + Cyclone - Fists of Fury Duelist [Videos Included]
So, has anyone checked out Carcass Jack + multistrike or melee splash on infernal blow?

I tried out melee splash on infernal blow and it works very well due to multiple exploding enemies. I dont even use cyclone anymore.

Hello, i tested infernal blow with melee splash it works good but for me cyclone rocks anyways coz i dont have to go for "cannot be stunned, cannot evade enemy attacks"
But i wonder how infernal blow works with multistrike, some1 tried it? I would like to hear some info about it. @Eryslaf

What do you guys think of this build...
-I have an Armor/Evasion 5L in my stash... Main attack will be, Infernal+BM+Melee Splash+Melee Phys+Added Fire/Life Leech/Faster Attacks. This will let me use... -Vitality -Haste(Swap for Determination when I drop grace) -Purity -Grace(Swap for Hatred when my Armor is high enough) -85% All resists -289% Life(299% with my Meginord's) |

If anyone is interested I'm currently taking a break from PoE and selling off all my various toons gear, so i can have more currency setup for when i return!
Anyway have a pretty decent Facebreaker toon/gear, if anyone is interested. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/330769/page/1 IGN: Aufs_TR_Mine

Has anyone tried out the new unique helm Abyssus with this build? 40-60 added physical should give a HUGE increase to DPS. However, the extra physical damage taken might make the helm not viable at all. What do you guys think?

" Used a bunch of regrets and modified the top branch of my build similar to what you did there to access more life nodes. The rest of my build was pretty similar. @Lv81 it now looks like: I guess the main differences are that I don't use Unwavering stance (because I cyclone) and I gave up on the bottom right set of life nodes (since I think they take too many points). Currently using Abyssus, so I can only use 4 auras now (purity/grace/determination/hatred). I can't afford to spend 3 more skill points on reduced reservation to fit in Haste aura... I think the points would be better spent on life or other defenses in general. Only recently acquired my Abyssus. The defenses are a huge problem which I am still trying to overcome. Lower maps aren't a problem, but I think I'm going to die on the higher ones later. This is definitely not for hardcore characters. If it doesn't work out, I'm going to suck it up and go back to the wolf helm. Currently undecided on whether I should keep that 6% attack speed node at the duelist starting area as well or switch that to other stuff. And debating with myself whether to invest in shield nodes, Armour and Evasion nodes, or maybe even pick up the extra endurance charges and use Enduring Cry (which I don't use right now). " Take my following comments with a bit of precaution as I've just only recently acquired my Abyssus. First of all, the damage increase is absolutely insane. It has doubled my cyclone and infernal blow, and I wouldn't be surprised if I were able to achieve 15/10k respectively with a 6L and better gem setups/quality (currently 11.5/7.2). The increased damage is noticeable, but from my limited amount of play thus far it hasn't been detrimental. I'm guessing on harder hitting map bosses I'll just swap out to my previous helm, but for trash I don't see it being problematic. Last edited by Mouchi#1867 on Apr 19, 2013, 1:10:48 PM

" Your options are to A) Link the Cyclone gem to a Blood Magic gem, allowing you to still use auras. B) Use the mana leech from the Warlord's Mark curse to sustain Cyclone. Unless you're fighting a single enemy, option B should always work. Though if you're fighting a single enemy, Infernal Blow will work better. |
