[0.11.2] THE BEST DW Simple Tanky High Dps Hybrid Cleave GUIDE-7 auras/30kDPS/5.5kHP/37kArm

Do you recommend using multistrike with cleave?
@Golfik and Sebash: Thank you for your answers, it was as I expected, too. It's always very encouraging when someone wrote a guide and actually make the effort to answer all the questions.

Some of my gears have extra Int on them and I don't have enough Int for aura gems (as we all do, I believe) even though I took a 30 Int node from passive. I was a bit confused as to whether I should prioritize auras (keeping gears with extra Int) or get new gears with HP. I think I got this problem because I was using auras from way too early (about lvl 30ish) so the Int requirement for gems got too high.

I'm currently following your advice and look for better gears and weapons. I only know of http://poe.xyz.is/ recently through one of your previous posts so I'll try using this to upgrade my gears.

Once again, thank you sincerely and please keep up the good work guys!
Hey All,

When crafting axes what type of axe should I focus on? I see Sebash is using two seige axes. Are those the best because of the Attack speed?

That link taken from his guide has Infernal Axes are the #1 dps axe. Should i try to craft inferal axes or siege axes?

Thanks guys!

Not really... While Dual-Wielding with Cleave u have already -40% reduced Physical Weapon Damage, and with Multistrike u have next -36% less Damage. Its little fishy for me, even if tooltip shows i have that 1k more dps, i don't think its worth cuz i believe its bugged.
I think attack speed on Multistrike probably scales with my elemental damage thats why it shows i have that 1k dps more, but still.. meh.. i prefer have my normal physical damage, life leech more and do one high hit per attack.

I personally prefer you Siege Axe, im checking for upgrades every day for like 1 month, and haven't seen something better than Siege axe. While crafting be sure u have at least ilvl 77 of your Axe. But... care, it might be expensive, i wasted like 100 scourings and 100 alchs and nothing good rolled ^^

Is all that matters DPS? how important is the Attack speed vs top end damage? If the end result is the same dps does it matter?

what do you think about changing Weapon Elemental Damage with Concentrated Effect gem and taking Amplify notable passive at templar's tree to compensate reduced AoE radius?

what do you think about using Daresso Salute amulet?
the resistances are nice and the melee range seems quite useful.

Attack speed on siege is scalling with every extra physical dmg or elemental dmg mods on rings/amulets/gloves etc. So its nice to have high attack speed and this is also reason why i prefer Siege.

No way, i would do that only with added fire damage gem. But still with Amplify from templar ur cleave will be small, u will need to use shift + cleave hotkey to use it on monsters. (i had to do that at least so thats why also i don't like it)

THis amulet does nothing to melee range, same like node Master of The Arena, it doesn't work with cleave, its for cyclone only. Anyway i dont think this ring is good. Its nice only for low life CI builds i believe.

hey :)

thx for this guide !!

I'm now lvl 71 with 6 Auras, but when i read some topic, I see people with 5k life / 9k DPS lvl 69.

I have 2.8k life and 4k DPS, i'm doing somethings wrong ?

It's hard for me to farm in Merciless and i don't know why :(

My gear : (8% leech life / armour 6746 50 % reduction / 70% fire res/ 74% cold res/ 79% lightning res / 75% chaos res)

thx you for help :) !

@Karibou9

For this build you need high melee physical damage weapons.
Sadly yours are very low on pure physical. because of this your life leach will be very weak.
Check tooltip for your cleave and add average for both weapons. Then 8% of that will be how much you leave a second. As life leach works only with physical damage yours will be very low i think.

elemental damage on weapons is nice but only if your main physical damage is good enough.

Your low health is due to only having two items with enough +health. You should get almost every items in your gear slots with +health.

What are your resists??

if i where you, i would replace weapons first then one items at the time looking mainly for +Health and lowest resist you have at that time. once you replace first piece of your equipment do same thing. Look for other item you want to replace, check your lowest resist and try to buy it with +Health and that resist. This way you will always upgrade health and lowest resist keeping it even (ish). Obviously you should be getting items with two resists on items if not with three.

rings and amulets should have +health as well with life leach or mana leach and +physical damage and then some resists ;)

good luck
