I heard cleave and whole physical builds started as a duelist will be very powerfull for races etc so they even increased hp/dmg of mobs early lvl, but decreased later. So lvling should be pretty easy for physicals

I wrote about it. Kinda yes, cuz with pure ele, ele reflect will kill u, esspecialy with ele adaptation nerf. WIth my build im not only elemental, im also physical and with buff to phys nodes i will be much stronger now. About phys reflect, with my armour it doesn't even hurt me.
So you can call it more "survival".

Nice build. Is dervish and the other block nodes by IR worth picking up?
Also would endurance charges be worth picking up as well?

Only that 2 nodes + dervish is worth imo. I don't have them atm cuz i wanted to enter maura tree + get all hp nodes there.

About endurance charges.. this is personal :)
But i believe after patch it won't be neccesary.
I have 4 and its enough. Don't forget it also gives 20% ele resists (16% after patch).

I think after the patch I'll get the respec on my character, but don't allocate any of the points (yet) and then start a new one on the anarchy league to try out how the changes affect hp/damage/...

hey what to link to cleave if i want to MF?

I'm thinking of trying a similar build in Onslaught, but with 1h+shield instead of DW, and frenzy early on instead of dual strike. Could this work?

Yea i would go same build in Onslaught, with 1h+ shield but i would use double strike early
