I think that in the end game build with 20k armor and 6k hp you can afford to drop Unwavering Stance to save 4 points which you can put into hp near IR, 50% armor near US or even more dps with the Fencing passive near IR.

Found those a few levels ago and find them very good for leveling with this build:

Hello from Spain!! :)
@Pes_Planus - nice gloves, yea perfect for lvling without blood magic gem and if u miss mana leech. @mikeskro - yes i will do that soon, still thinking how to improve my build, when i back to home i will change some nodes. To clarify any doubts im gonna answer again: -I don't think armor nodes are a waste because they give dmg reduction which i really like for some hard mods of maps to tank a lot of mobs, bosses etc. Yes, maybe you don't really need that much arm for reflect however as i said dmg reduction is insane imo! With 2k armour (as you could see with my image i posted here) you have only 9% dmg reduction. And with my 17k i have 49%! Also if i use Granite + my endurance charges i have 90% dmg reduction. I think its really worth it. Especially we can't use koams, and we can't have 10k + hp so at least we need some other survivability which gives us that dmg reduction from armour. I feel same like with koams now. Because i have that much defence and i take less dmg from mobs. :) -Yea maybe elemental cleave is better with DPS for dw cleave, however with only elemental cleave you can't use life leech and mana leech. You need extra socket for those gems linked with ur cleave. Also elemental cleave is more expensive imo - because you need extra elemental mods on your rings/gloves, same with 'Increased elemental dmg". You really need those mods to increase your dps. You can say i need also phys dmg + attack speed mods but i have my 14k dps without those mods and i don't really need more dps. -I made my build to have very high survivability, to avoid all reflects - with only elemental cleave is really hard to avoid i think, because with your dps you said 20k + u take too much dps with Static blows even with capped resists. -Yea mobs have some armour, same with resists. -Yes unfortunately cleave has 40% melee dmg reduction when going dw but i think its not that bad if i have 14k dps when ppl get max 10k dps on EK etc. I think its not that bad. Its very balanced imo. -You don't need use mana leech, you even can't if u run 7 auras with 4x percentage, because u have like 10 mana left, but you can if you run 3x percentage auras and u have then like 100 mana lech. You need for it mana leech and not faster attack speed than 0.30 on ur cleave. Yea it can be complicated end game but this is why GGG made blood magic gem you can use. However as i said mana leech is really helpfull early game and even mid game (i didnt use blood magic till 75lvl), its good because u have free socket you can use with ur cleave instead of blood magic gem. -You can have insane dps same with my build going hybrid, and have like 30k+ dps (which Zeldoon proved it) but its really hard vs reflect, ele or phys reflect. You had 11k dps so maybe it was fine but with higher dps its harder, especially with elemental reflect, because with my build we have also a lot of ele dmg. So maybe right, back to armour, you can avoid physical reflect using granite flask + endurance charges but u can't avoid ele reflect. Also i did a lot of times reflect maps and it wasn't so easy if you hit a lot of mobs in same time with your cleave.. its also harder if u do a reflect map and you hit the mobs which have also reflect -its hard to do double reflect, i don't even want to think about this with Static blows. Maybe its possible with koams and high hp, like 10k + but... we can't use koams, we really need this survivability, THATS WHY i prefer defence over more dps. I prefer to feel comfortable and not risk going with full dps. Because you never know what can happen. Peace! :) Let me know if i forgot about something. |

so i made a level 74 duelist following this guide, wasn't sure what bandits reward you picked up so i went with the following:
-normal: 40 hp -cruel: 12% physical -merciless: 1 endurance charges my questions are the following: -you said hatred and added fire will let you freeze/burn stuff, but you use resolute technique, AFAIK elemental status only works when you crit (with the exception with a few passives nodes in the trees). So far i've been playing without ever getting resolute technique and i haven't see single missing attack. my current dps is 7.2k on cleave with a hit chance of 78% (i did my calculation and if i assume i hit 100% of the time i would do around 11k to 12k with crit)do you really think it's worth picking that up? -what were your bandit rewards? " Damn!!! I just noticed that everything has been removed.. By mistake(probably while editing) i had to remove remaining part of my whole build... There was everything i explained.. tips explanations, calculations, everything... .... Yea i picked same bandits reward as you. Freeze/burns - No sorry, u can't freeze, burn mobs when u have RT, it was working without RT. BUT you can chill enemies on pvp, so its weird :P About missing, axes dont have any mod with accuracy so i really wanted to pick that RT. It gives me like 2k dps (don't remember, it was long time ago). If u won't pick RT, u should go different build with crits. That means u will need leave some hp points for crit nodes. Its not really worth for me. About build, i will try to backup everything, i ask mods if they can backup what i said, othwerise i will need to write new build and explain everything again. Hello, I absolutely love your build! Just wondering how you have turned down your graphics as I suffer from some minor (but annoying) low FPS drops. I've noticed from your screenshots that you've turned the graphics lower than you can on the main menu.
Thanks in advance, Malok. |

Yea! My all guide is back!
But im still thinking of rewrite it and correct some typos etc. my english sometimes sux :P About graphic, i use Texture quality = 4 and also i have everything at low/off in PoE settings. About Texture Quality: You can lower the texture quality to help reduce FPS issues: Step 1: Find "production_Config.ini". It should be in your C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile folder, otherwise just search for it. Step 2: Open the INI and look for "texture_quality=1" Step 3: Change the number to your desired texture quality: 1=high 2=medium 3=low 4=very low (this is what i use) you can also set 5,6,7,8,9,10 and more, but it will be more awful for some users, so its personal. Also good trick to get fps drop is add --nosound at the end of path of your game, you can get there clicking at Poe Icon and go to properties. So basically it looks like that: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Client.exe" --nosound It removing sound from your game, you load faster to instances, dont have fps drop with party etc. -Will add it to my thread ..As you can see there is a lot of things to say and explain... and I really want to make it clear and visible on my thread. Gonna try to work about it. Last edited by Sebash6#0223 on May 22, 2013, 8:31:03 AM
