Oh wow I haven't seen that Chest yet. You can build Dual totem with that AND be able to use spells? And you don't have to use a gem slot for spell totem. OR can TRI TOTEM?! I might have to shelve my desire to get a Shavonne's and get this instead.

Great Build! Very enjoyable to play. I do have a question regarding totems, if anyone knows. It seems that those witches in Barracks (Cruel difficulty, haven't gotten there in Merciless yet) that shoot Arc killed my totems in one or two shots, even when it was the only thing getting hit. Are totems more susceptible to lightning damage?

I do have a suggestion to add to your build.
If someone needs more survivability, they can sacrifice the added lightning or cold damage with Blind. Since Incinerate hits so often, you get almost a perpetual state of blindness on everything it hits. With GMP and dual totems, basically everything gets blinded.
I've been leveling in Fellshrine (Merciless), so I decided to test it there (I was able to get a level 15 Blind gem from trade). Almost immediate blind effect.

I also noticed that after last patch, wizards in barracks are oneshotting not only totems, but zombies also -_-. I'm glad that I'm done with them, simply the most annoying mobs ever.

Soul mantle seems like a bit overkill to me, this build aleady is very powerful - however with this item we could skip Ancestral Bond completely, as SM simply does the same thing.

I think it's lightning thorns working on ranged now, too. That's why the totems hurt themselves and the arc mages have an easy time finishing totems off. Those bitches annoy the crap out of me, too.

But if you really want to hate them, play a fire trapper and try to kill them <3 They insta gib traps while still in mid-air. Quite awesome when your char can't do much else ^^
Im sitting on 500dps from tooltip with all the rare equip with item rarity , im using item rarity instead of light dmg as well, its not bad. I tried to use the zombies but they die pretty fast (hi casters) and im lazy to resummon them everytime ~_~

I'm actually using fire traps to wreck them when they're shooting my totems/zombies.

Trying to find some finishing move that could be linked to item rarity/quantity on 4l. Power siphon dont work for me - even unique map bosses tend to die too fast. Fire trap is not reliable enouh. I'm thinking about getting rid of lightning/cold dmg gems as barebone incinerate totem is still deadly to most mobs. Or someone has better idea?

Great Guide. Read through all 13 pages. I need a magic finding character, will this work as a low-life magic finder in docks?

Gems (5-link): incinerate-spell totem-item quantity-item rarity- and faster casting.

Do the void-dogs in docks present too much of problem for close-up totems? I want a character for alteration / chaos orb recipe farming.

the voidbearers will absolutely destroy your totems. not viable for farming docks imo.

for a dock farming character you can do a dual totem spark/arc with low life and

I have no problems farming docks with this build. I don't have a spork character so I have nothing to compare with respect to speed, but I feel like I can pretty much breeze through docks.

I cast Temporal Chains, Flammability, and a Fire Trap on the Voidbearers and they melt before my totems melt. Rare Voidbearers are a little more challenge, but not much... just throw Bear and Fire Traps on them and continually recast totems.
