" 100% agree with that! Thats why I didnt lvl my chars past lvl 75 (neither in CB nor in OB). I only play races and new chars to ~ lvl 70. Maps would be a nice additional content to farm items, but arent nearly enough as only endgame content. Besides having to farm maps in low lvl areas, one of the bigger problems is that maps are soo unpredictable. If a map is difficult or not, doesnt really depend on the crafted maps stats, most of the difficulty depends on the random combination of monsters. You think you are lucky because you crafted a nice easy map, but as soon as you enter you get insta killed by Diabolists with ice mage skellttons together with all monsters from piety's level, puncture snakes and flicker strike pirates all together... => currently PoE endgame is the worst I ever saw |

Just started maps last night, used all my maps last night, rolled all +size +monster size and tried to get things like fleet on them as well to boost IIQ, well yeah, my bad luck continues.
I have extra beta keys and I'm not giving them out

last week i had 13 68 maps in a row without one single map re-drop or any item i could use, well ok 2 chaos lol ...
today i used my last 3 72 maps with reasonable good rng and got nothing out of it. now i am back at 66/67 maps, no thanks im out. |

I really think the major end-game design flaw is in your heads. A game such as this doesn't have the end-game of an MMORPG, which I think is what you are asking for. They are not looking to trivialize your gear with every expansion. As a matter of fact, they state why they want to make concurrent content instead. What all of that means is that you are complaining to have end-game gear faster. That is what all this complaining boils down to.
It isn't arguable that the power of a level 95 character is significantly higher than the power of a level 90 character. Passive skill points don't suddenly become better when you are higher level. If it takes you 95 levels worth of skill points to make your build work, then you have a really lame build. So, why do you want higher level maps right now? You say you want to be rewarded for your time invested? You may be playing the wrong sort of game. This game above all other argp's that I know of, reward you for time served. If you build a character with high magic find you will find the best shinies. If you use a proper strategy on your maps, you will find higher level maps. If you want end-game options, check out races and practice for them. Roll up alts and gear them. Collect enough maps and currency to attain end-game maps. For a bit of perspective, consider that these complaints seem to be that after 1.5 months you do not have everything. Maybe.........they want the game to last for more than a month or two? |

btw, don't worry.
game is actually beta and Act4 is probably not so far. And due to low cost of map 66-70, i really don't see any profit from reroll a 2 weak bonus for a better one. just run map as it come. personally, i use chance orb on lvl 69- and add a second rare bonus if i only had one. And alch on 70+ maps. For more profit, always go there in group ( even small 2-4 ppl ) with basic no steal rules and why not, share currencies loot. As i said before, we always drop more maps than we use, so i used to get all map from the group, and then imbue them for mates. Alch used on lvl 70 maps make profitable with lvl 66-67 sold in trade chat for 1 alch ). So, i never upgrade maps with pnj, always 10-15 maps in chest if no luck during some runs, and really enjoy actual high level content even if it's really too easy. lvl 66 maps farmed since lvl 60 without difficulty. |
