Any ETA on fixing these ridiculous AMD FPS drops? (e: Nvidia cards affected as well!)

I dont know if this is related or not but after updating to this latest patch (0.10.7b), my client crashes immediately after launch. I deleted production_Config.ini and the game started again in 1024x768. Changing Resolution or Antialiasing Quality immediately crashes the game.

Some have suggested enabling vsync, others disabling. Which should I try ig im trying to reduce framerate drops?

" Some ppl have been reporting that launching the game with the " --nosound" switch actually helped a lot regarding fps drops (and prevent crashes). Even if it can't be a permanent solution, it can't hurt to make the test. The more GGG has information about this, the better they'll be able to fix the issue. |

Just checked, --nosound makes no difference with random fps drops in my case. However i can't say anything about helping with crashes because i have never experienced them in PoE.

Cleaning my old drivers and installing the 13.3 drivers really helped to alleviate the problem initially. But since the last patch it's the same as before. Even tried formatting etc., no difference. Getting so fucking tired of this

" This is exactly how it looks for me too. Constantly spikes down for no reason. IGN: Darkrox (not my main, just for easy contact)

I feel it even got worse with the new 13.4 Driver :(
Had 3 crashes since installing it like those in spoiler. Never crashed before. And fps ist in group playing most of the time around 20-30. Even Crysis 3 on max gives me more fps

It seems there may be a problem with Intels Turboboost in modern Processors.
I remembered that i had Turboboost disabled for a long time, and enabled it again some days ago. So after it got more worse with fps and 13.4 ccc i played around a bit with settings and its running much better now. Not nearly perfectly, but its running better at all. What i did was: - disable Turboboost in BIOS - ccc custom settings: AMD optimized tesselation changed to Application - ingame: disabled Vsync and post-processing I have now 150fps, and drops only going down to 40 and not 20 as before. I then reenabled Turboboost to test again and fps dropped again down to 15-20, so somehow PoE cannot handle the Turboboost correctly |
