Any ETA on fixing these ridiculous AMD FPS drops? (e: Nvidia cards affected as well!)
One of the developers uses an AMD card and has reported never having an FPS issue, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Computer specifications:
Windows 10 Pro x64 | AMD Ryzen 5800X3D | ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (WiFi) Motherboard | 16GB 3600MHz RAM | MSI Geforce 1070Ti Gamer | Corsair AX 760watt PSU | Samsung 860 Pro 512GB SSD & WD Black FZEX HDD |

" Shoudn't they fix problems that players have? Not ignore them because they don't experience the issue themselves? There are loadds of threads with FPS issues by AMD users. I have yet to find a DEV answer to those threads, other than: We know about it, but it's not a priority for us at the moment. |

" Not really ideal considering that ATI graphics cards are not just found on desktop computers but laptops too. I'm willing to bet that there are a significant number of people playing PoE on laptops where you can't just swap out your graphics card. What you're suggesting for laptop users is to buy a whole new laptop just for this game. " Where did the devs say this? AMD is pretty much the only other competitor to Intel. If you're buying a new computer then almost half use AMD/ATI graphics cards and the other are Intel/Nvidia based. This should be a priority! |
