In my opinion the subject Translation should be divide in "speech translation" and "subtitles".
I believe that the great majority of gamers that have difficulty with the English would be more than satisfied with subtitles, which are easier and cheaper to be implemented. I know for a fact that in many countries subtitles are even prefered than speech/ voice translation. Join my army of the dead!

More languages will be better for all gamers, and for Grinding gears. Is a nice game since diablo, have a dark atmosphere, beautifull graphics and so nice playing.

imo additional languages that are probably mandatory:

I like to see this post is going so far. Hope this help make a version of Portuguese(Brazil), at least subtitles.

Maybe the subtitles could be put in a format that other players could edit and post... sorta like subscene for videos.

I think the best thing to do would be to start a wiki translation project once the game is released. If it proves beneficial enough then GGG may opt to include it.

Also, albeit not the most accurate thing in the world, google translate could help.
