Well i´m from Germany, but usually play games in english because of poor german voice-acting.

I would also prefer no voice-acting over bad voice-acting, its one of the main atmosphere killers.Well, thats just me.
More like "Path of Kiddy Hell"

Oh,I agree.Almost anything that is synchronized in german is really bad.
Should be english only with perhaps sub-titles.So the atmoshphere won't get caught in the crossfire of making the game most accessable.
I doubt there will be multiple voice-overs even if they make voice-overs.They are awesome, but I think bit of work too.And they have to focus on the really important things. If anything you can still make an awesome game without them.
He withdrew, himself wounded, and was compelled to return home inglorious, weeping - he who had once vainly hoped for the glory of a triumph.
If you would do a dutch translation I would laugh for days, I am so used to english as the language in games that I can't see myself enjoying it as much in my native dutch :P

Translations should not delay your release date by the way!!

Hi, i think that good spanish (from spain) translation will be good, the spanish that they speak arround there by latin america isn't really as the spanish spoken here in spain; their's is more like a literal translation of the (american) english and i had some bad experiences with other games that had such translation. Sometimes you don't even know what they're reffering to when they speak, if you're spanish (from spain) like myself. In fact this kind of translation is so bad that always make me use the english version; same happens with the built-in translators... they use to end being like the google translator... and that's a bad solution in my opinion, worst than use the english version; but may be because through the years playing with the english versions... listening to englih music like The Bellrays, The Dead Kennedys, Body Count, and alot of 60's & 70's soul, garage, funk & R'n'R i've been learning english without even think about it. Let's C ya

hi! i'm from argentina. Thats kind of translation you mean it's not like a "latin american" one. its more like a neutral spanish. the spanish language has lots of "versions".. so its like you say "coger" for catch somethin' up and for me that means litteraly "fuck" hahahaha :D
I believe Portuguese (Brazil) subtitles would be great.

There are a lot of gamers in Brazil and there is much potential there. The biggest problem for game companies in Brazil is a mistake in the taxation of videogames that causes games and consoles to have taxes up to 167% in their prices, which makes them absolutely inaccessible for most consumers.

A great f2p game like PoE can really be HUGE over there.
Join my army of the dead!

With regard to translation, we've actually already had offers from fans (who happen to be professional translators) who want to help out with localisation to specific regions. We'll try to get a good coverage of languages, but our main development focus up until beta is getting a good gaming experience created. We'll handle translation after that.

What languages would you guys like to see support for?
