3.0.0 Beta Performance Improvements
This IS the answer that intrigued me most! Reminds me the Arc optimisation back in the days. It's awesome!

OMG so many whiners in this thread. Why are you so upset that they used such pc? Sure its not average but for today standards its LOW TIER GAMING PC. If you would want to buy PC for games today this is the most budget option, anything less is not "gaming pc" anymore.

" What does any of this have to do with... anything? I was responding to someone who claimed the GTX 1050 Ti is "One of top 5 GPUs avalable on the market". My response comprised of a list of cards which do better in benchmarks as a general idea of how many cards are more powerful than the new (but weak) 1050 Ti. I'm sure the newer cards use less power, generate less heat, come with more VRAM and so on. That's all very nice but none are inherently relevant to their performance in Path of Exile. " Except that "get an i5" has been the answer to gamers asking which CPU to get for the better part of a decade. The failure of AMD's Bulldozer architecture in 2011 cemented that. " I agree. And if I was recommending a gamer buy one, you might actually have a point. “Please understand that imposing strong negative views regarding our team on to other players when you are representing our most helpful forum posters is not appropriate.” — GGG 2022 ---- I'm not 'Sarno' on Discord. Good news, but i really doubt the "average user" is running 1000 series gfx cards etc. I have about 20 ppl in my friends list and based on what i've heard from them (when it comes to performance) only a few have that. I run the game fine (mostly) but i think you're overstating the specs of players. There's plenty of ppl that quit because POE is relatively badly optimized, so this should give them a chance, because with games it often is about the software optimization, not raw hardware. I mean you can have a better looking game run smoothly and at the same time a worse looking game run crappier, which shows that it's not hardware. Optimization is key.
Lol at the post where someone whined about the specs of the showcase pc being too high and then someone else said that "sure it's not ur avg pc, but for gaming it's low tier (specially when it was even stated in the video that the POE engine can't run some of the stuff very well) Lmao get off your high horse, i for an example have a solid pc but i don't go around mocking others who don't. So the pc shown is a good one "not ur avg", but for gaming it's suddenly lowtier? What are you running NASA supercomputers or smth? /facepalm ... as if some random guy's subjective personal assesement proves what is a "gaming pc" and what isn't lmaoooo... contrary to your imaginary world, most ppl who play games don't assemble the literally latest, most overpriced, most powerful pieces in a rig to get some 1 million euro dollar machine, as if you need that to run most games at a normal fps and then brag about it as if it matters xD Quit after Legion, rejoined PoE to see what the game's like now in 3.12. where are the trading system updates?
No one cares about standard. It's literally a recycle bin, just press empty.

" For the GPU I agree. For the CPU, no. Anything skylake is going to have very solid single threaded performance which is all POE cares about. It would be around 80% of the performance of even the 7700K which is about as high end as you can go for a gaming processor. |

" Dude i dont have such pc, running i3 / 950gtx / 8gb ram. Its not mocking, its stating a fact. You like it or not that is low tier gaming pc (mid tier overall), not to play games from time to time but specifically for gaming. |
