The Exiled Sale Recipe Book (spoilers)

Is there any point trying to get alc for 3 same names? I got huge amount of rares, about 10 tabs, but it seems extremely difficult to find even 2 items of the same rare name.

There were some trade activities some time ago to 'swap' matches with others. Since the recipe was changed and the pool of item names increased, it may need more patience to get matches, even with trading - probably so much that its not longer really worth the effort (maybe what the wanted to have with the changes)

For a simpler to understand setup of how to get value-items - including vendors sale of orbs - Djao has compiled a list and courteously lets us use it:

I haven't kept up with this great, monstrous, thread in 9months+, glad to see radiatoren still keeping it up to date. The linked Currency google doc has been irritating me because it's quite outdated and incorrect in parts, yet at any given time there are some 40 people looking at it! I hope it's ok that i took the liberty to make an updated version with the corrections i know about. I double checked the stuff i could (like all the buy vendor stuff).

You can find it at http://tinyurl.com/currencyPoE (capitalization doesn't matter)

Please PM me corrections, as i will not see any replies in this thread. Djao PM me if you resurface and want me to take it down.

Yes, all the recipes are used by going to a vendor and choosing "Sell Items".

Recipe: 3 rares with same 2 rare-names
Reward: Alchemy Orb
Finder: Mr_Cee

Would be really awesome with a example of what "with same 2 rare-names" means
Above content may contain traces of nonsense.

Reality is simply an unrealistic version of online gaming.

I will add some more appropriate items later if I remember it.

Btw. I have found a "new" mod: % Additional Block Chance. It has 0 value so far!

I think I found an inconsistency...

4 Alchemy Shards
Item Rarity Acquisition Mods: Only "Raiding" and Archeology" perfect
Item Quality Acquisition Mods: Only "Gathering" and "Hoarding" perfect

The suffix for Raiding (found on this site, not the wiki) has a range of 11-14% so a perfect would have 14% item rarity. An item with this would net 4 Alchemy shards. Alternatively, Archeology with 20% item rarity would net 4 Alchemy shards. Any other value gets you 2 Alchemy Shards.

So how did this happen?

(ignore the gauntlets on the right, just my equipped item)

In the picture I'm getting 4 Alchemy shards for 18% item rarity.

Very good question Jack_Cookie.

If I should take a guess, this is not a suffix mod:

The 18% is likely the prefix "Pirate's" and GGG has made the prefix values consistent with the suffix values as opposed to the 1 shard of wisdom it had as a value in closed beta.

It is a bit odd since I have only seen the prefix mods on belts before.

I would love to see some confirmation from blue items: If a blue item holds the prefix mods, a screenshot of the sale-value would be wonderful!

Well I haven't completely begun to understand how mods are different on rare items. I took a guess that they would follow similar structure to the Prefix/Suffix and keep their range of values for certain levels. But that is probably a very wrong assumption, so perhaps it is a similar mod as Raiding but with a higher possible range because it is a rare.

It wasn't the way it worked in the closed beta at least. The mods were the same. It also makes sense when you can upgrade a magic item to a rare item, that the rare item retains the same intervals. Also, I am almost 100% sure that the methods for predicting the value of mods works exactly the same. Give me a yellow item and I can give you the value, as long as the individual mod-values are on the list!
