The Exiled Sale Recipe Book (spoilers)

Is it working as intended that fusing a mana flask with a life flask, each with magic properties, turns into a white (i.e. plain vanilla) vial? Seems like a big loss, I thought I would be able to get a vial to remove chilled/burning/frozen thanks to the fusing.

I just tried the Mirror recipe

5 Regal + 2 Exalted + 1 Divine

And it doesn´t work, all I got offered was 3 scraps of wisdom :S

Anyone know why?

That's because it's the other way around, a Mirror of Kalandra will give you 5 Regal Orbs, 2 Exalted Orbs, 1 Divine Orb.

Reward: 1 Scrap of Wisdom

I'm not sure how to interpret this one. For example, a white 2H sword with +14% quality sells for 1 scrap of wisdom. Yet, I consider that item part of the Whetstone recipe (once I get to 40+% in items). If I were to take the above statement at face value, I would sell that 2H for 1 wisdom scrap, rather than saving it in order to aggregate with other +quality weapons for a Whetstone.

I guess the mana flask is blue and the mods on it have not been assigned a value in alteration shards or alchemy shards. In at least some cases, the mod-value of 1 shard of wisdom takes precendence over the recipe.
I have not observed this specific effect if the mods are giving alternation shards or alchemy shards and I therefore suspect that it is a "bug". "Bugs" are features in some cases. Could be the other magic flasks giving too much!

Was anyone in the meantime able to try if the "5 items of same type ans rarity" also work with maps?

I'm a bit confused since the OP never reall explained what the recipes are...

Are these done through npc bartering?

Also, I have a ton of Orbs of Transmutation. What can I do with those?
