Using Carcass Jack is totally good if your feeling that your low on AoE/damage but I currently do not use one and are having no issues with it.

Just ripped at 85, in a temple map T6. 2xboss, 2x piety on me, micro lag max 1 sec, almost instant rip when connection come back. little angry right now :p

A 4link is fine for maps but about Tier7-8 I would reccommend aiming to get a 5link to make it easier on yourself ^^

What about fire penetration gem?

No fire penetration only works on hits, as RF totem never actually hits anything it will never get the benefits of penetration.

Ty for response sir. I was figuring it was either a RF quirk (never used it before) or a math reason (more damage from other gems), and this was the place to find out. Level 63 atm in act 3 merci and killing everything with a 4 link. Any suggestions on what gems to put quality on first?

Its rather awesome isnt it :) And yes quality blasphemy first as it will increase the effect of supported auras and so your damage from using them, at 20% quality its 10% increased curse effectiveness. after that I did temporal chains as I like have mobs slow for harder maps. for damage though do Inc burning damage and Inc aoe for more damage.

I see 2 little changes if I compare Your 1st post main build and Your current build at lvl90

- you use Rapid Decay instead of Conc Eff

- on passive skill tree I see You take EE nodes
