Power Creep and an opportunity for change (rework eternals and mirrors).

" Yes, lets use the original closed beta as an argument of how the economy has changed. Really, that is what you want to use as an argument point. Tell me o master crafter what was the mass produced rares of torment league, names and links if possible (threads, ect) I'd like to see some of these items you speak of. Closed beta is a representation of what happens when fewer people play the game and even few amount of mirrors, eternals and exalts are in supply, using any argument about the economy then and now is completely pointless. The original closed beta didn't have the same number of power of unqiues that we see now either, unqiues like binos and hege staff which have a great amount of power\stats and removes some need to craft weapons of those times. Closed beta didnt have masters, which alone are super powerful, you can take a blue weapon and turn it into something insane, of course it helps if you start with the right high roll to begin with. But lets all use this thread to circle jerk power creep and mirrors instead of looking at everything else that has caused rare items to be "shit" (masters, unqiues, ect) Nope lets continue to blame the one piece of the puzzle all but .00001% of PoE players can touch, if that isn't envy I don't honestly know what is. Personally I love the idea of Eternals and Mirrors for various reasons in end game. Its one of those iconic features that made me stay in this game even after the core game has been catastrophically balanced over the last patches.
But if the issue is poor people complaining about what loot they get grinding vs buying/mirroring off from someone again then my suggestion there is keeping the current spawn chance of item affixes on et/ex procedure but slightly increase spawn chance on dropped items. That way it keeps the high rollers happy and the little guys keep grinding. "Get rich or die grinding"

@OJ8_Graz: Can you say me why you love that? Just curiosity. Also, the point made is not about gear availability (if you are poor you are not going to get near perfect gear probably), it's about making perfect gear impossible to get so the game improves its replayability (more reasons to keep grinding). A game design thing, I guess. @destrock: there are legit players like JakeAlmighty (he sold his crafted item anyway). I wouldn't go blaming people, at least not without proof. Anyway, not that sure anymore, this is one of those "going to level 100 should take more time" like topics. It's fairly subjective. Although the rage generated by the new tiers should be a warning about letting people think they'll have the best gear forever...
