I had help!

This ring was used as an inspiration for the visual design, but there's something about cameos that just fits into the game world for me.

Hopefully it'll end up being used as more than just an exp boosting item.

Big thanks to Rory and everyone else at GGG.

Err... it's better for HC than SC. The bonus to max resists is nuts. Don't let the IIQ/IIR distract you from the main purpose of the item... reaching nearly-capped resists. Not sure if the effect stacks with elemental flasks but if it does, it's completely OP. If it doesn't, it's still a little overly powerful but not too bad because you also have to make sure you don't fill up on mana/life or the effect ends. There are a few workarounds for that, but I'll keep them to myself for now (not that it's that hard to think up).

i admit the +6 is insane but how often do you spot an ele reflect and decide i attack him directly

i use traps to take care of such situations

That flask is just plain OP.

Everyone and their mothers will want one of these in their belt.
With 2x 20 charges @ 5 seconds you will only need one to infi-chain this.

E: GGG why don't you bring back Merveil's Tears as well?

i hate to say it but this really bothers me in all those threads i read the last week STANDARD is not the base of all things whats op for one league is considered at best mediocre for another cause everybody and his mom stacks iir/iiq in standard league
i would do the same if i had nothing to fear doesnt mean its op standard league is already flooded with gg items and uniques so you think the tiny flask will hurt it ?
btw not even one hc player submittid one of the new uniques...i rest my case

i bet a lot of hc player wont even bother to put it into their belts and remove a precious granite or quicksilver

and no this is not a hc sc flamewar it is just to put things into perspective

It's also a hybrid flask which means it will stack on top of hp/mana pots. It's a great flask no doubt. In fact I have room for it in my current build, Although 6% max resist isn't needed it won't hurt.

Technically it is op but I don't quite feel we should make a fuss over added survivability.

Also will the chaos damage on that new sword be effected by elemental nodes?

totally! I don't understand how can people only see IIR/IIQ, obviously max res is the selling point! and it's simple, all you have to do is use arctic armour to keep the effect going on
It is not about IIQ/IIR vs. other mods, it is about being able easily to infi-chain a single flask with no downsides that is OP (or broken or whatever you will call it).
Had it been life regen + increased damage it would have been OP as well.

Can you explain why arctic armor will help to keep up the effects of the flask? or am i missing something?

And why do ppl say you can perma run this flask? because it only needs 20 charges and lasts for 5 seconds?

It's a cool item man, nice to see in game.

Also kinda interesting to see how well it complements itself. I mean if you're using it for the XP/Scrolls you literally double your effectiveness, and the mana, mana regen and increased int per Unique benefit from each other as well.

Out of curiosity, any idea about how common a Unique it is? Am I going to end up with a couple of them lying around like Crown of Thorns, Quill Rain and Koam's Sign or is it Dream Frags level?

You can keep Arctic Armour at a level that the mana drain from it will be similar to the mana regen from the flask to let you get the full 5 seconds, but for that you either need to run around constantly on a level 1 one or stand still for the 5 seconds on a higher level one, with little choice between the two unless you've got a sizeable mana pool to use.

And the Perma run I assume is people planning on stacking them for use.
