Where as I didn't find a unique for ages but in the last 2 hrs of gameplay I have found 3. It is all luck.

Out of curiosity, how much +item rarity have you typically been running around with?

I only just started playing last weekend and my highest char is 35, but thus far the items have felt kind of boring as it’s getting to the point where I feel like I have a better chance at finding upgrades from the shops after each level up than I do killing things.

I'm not saying that I expect a rare/unique item to drop off every other mob that dies, but some kind of intermediary class of gear would be nice between the rare and the unique equipment the way green set pieces worked in D2/D2x. Judging from the level requirements of certain unique items listed in this topic, I guess those would replace the lower level set piece structure of D2/D2x, but it seems like an over abundant amount of luck is needed to find them atm judging from a lot of the comments I’ve read in the beta forums this week.

It's been quiet in here, we still need 4 more uniques people!! If anyone has a unique item not listed on the 1st page then please post it!

Try running around with +350% rarity, you will see a huge difference, add 100% quantity to that and farm a place where you kill enemies in 1 hit.

That sure sounds like a chore :P.

It's pretty standard item running technique. Find a place where you can kill quickly practically naked, and stock yourself full of +MF gear, as much as you can get. Then go nuts.
