Tips / FAQ for new players
Why do monsters appear again and the map clear after teleporting to another location? Why doesn't it happen only after relogging?

Helpful tip that took me way too long to figure out: You can hold down the cast button for a spell to keep casting it again and again, it will finish if you run out of mana, or if you're targeting a monster, when the monster dies

" Each map is a separate instance. Instances automatically close after being empty for 15 minutes. You can log out and back in and not lose your progress through a map, each instance will remain for 15 minutes. You can read more here |

I guess even though this wasn't the intent, this has also turned into a new player shoutout thread so here goes:
Just got in, and happy to be part of the beta. Timing didn't happen to be ideal for me so I won't have much time to play until the new year. Still I really like what I'm seeing so far and want to say specifically that this thread is great! |

Quick question that I haven't seen a definitive answer to: With support gems and socket links; do the support gems only affect the skills that are directly linked to them, or do they affect every gem in the "chain" of sockets? Everything I've read suggests taht it only affects the directly linked skills, yet I've seen a few armour pieces linked on the forums where people have a load of support gems chaining into one active skill. so like [support]=[support]=[active] rather than [support]=[active]=[support].

All linked are affected.
