Hi,
If I am a phys dmg dealer and I pick up "Static Blows", if I am lvl60 doing maps, will my level 1 wrath proc Shock with my phys dmg ? Or do I have to pass some minimum damage threshold ? |

Static Blows would only increase it by 30% (Wrath adds 1-9 Lightning damage, so SB adds 0-3); that still wouldn't deal much Lightning damage. Unlikely to be enough.
EDIT: Oops I am idiot. Was thinking of Arcing Blows. So yeah, 1-9 is not going to be enough to trigger Shock on high-level enemies. It'd work on Act I Normal though :P Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Jan 11, 2013, 12:47:28 PM

I had a quick question and a couple suggestions..
First the question... if i have a weapon that says 20 -30 phys damage then has some mods below it like.. 30 percent phys damage increase etc... are those mods already figured into the weapons 20 - 30 damage or are those numbers pre- modifier.. Now the suggestions.. would make life easier to have new inv items have a border until viewed and also have mag rare unique items have a diff color background from one another in inventory.. Also a comparison tooltip on ground would help and have the tooltips show the increase decrease that the new item imposes. Thanks |

Quick question on the passive "Reduced Mana Cost of skills".
Does this passive reduce the mana cost multipliers of support gmes? I have a feeling it doesn't, but it doesn't hurt to hope. For Ranger build tips, tactics, and critiques, visit this thread:

mixed answer.
support gems are multipliers to the link skill's cost. reduced mana cost is a reduction multiplier also with the support gem of reduced cost also separate. |

Ok, a bit of a strange question...I've read somewhere that for the purposes of calculating experience penalty (or something similar), the game takes that a player can not be above certain lvl (I think it was 63), meaning lvl 80 player would be percieved as lvl 63 for this purpose. But I can't remember what this was nor where I've seen it.
Does anyone know more about this? i thought shock was triggered only if light damage was dealt in the attack? why would it matter how much is in the damage?
