No idea where to start. You can start with getting a cheap 5l armor, they shouldn't cost much on standard. Then you replace everything with Liferolls + some resist. Maybe get a amulet with +5% lifeleech. You should find better gear while leveling though. spend 1-2 chaos each slot and you are good to go. Search for Life (60+) and 2 resis (20+) if possible.

INT from gear IF possible. Else get the 30 Int between the mara/templar and the 30 between the mara and Duelist until you get it from gear. Also run reduced Mana with auras, might help.

I think I've figured out a way to solve the int problem. I got a pretty great MF ammy (I plan on going full mf) with 25ish all attributes and I'm going to grab an ar/es chest with int. I think that'll be easier to fit inc aoe and concentrated effect on, too.
I'm using reduced mana, I think I'll just have to wait awhile while the gem levels.


Is devoto's helm really worth it? Its cheap and the move speed is probably great to have but I think I'd rather have the MF

Taking devotos/30 MS boots vs only having 10 MS on Goldwyrms is quite significant. Not much in the DPS output, since trash dies fat anyways and you can quicksilver bosses, but the gameplay.

I leveled a 2nd duelist with the same tree for MF only and can't play him that long since he feels so slow.

Might try a scion start with more MS from the tree next time around.

TL:DR Devoto/30ms boots is more a QOL then a must have.

I don't think I'm gonna run Goldwyrms. I bought some dates with 30% ms and 25% IIR. I'll live without the quantity. I think its a fair trade.
Will go MF helm, too I guess.

5L will probably be cyclone, bm, increased aoe, melee phys and rarity.

Yep. Same thing for 5L. Take rarity for Conc -> QOL, more hits. Take rarity for Inc. AOE -> more dmg, but less aoe -> more precise spins needed.

How the heck are people getting that much DPS? Is it just my gem levels and gear? I'm barely at 8.3k.

I went for all of the Regen first, then Radius nodes, then Axe nodes. Now im starting to grab all of the life nodes near marauder bottom/Radius Cluster/Templar. I'm 3650hp at level 65, and most of my gems are a bit low. Is a few gem levels really going to do that much more, plus the MS helmet? Or am I wasting my time compared to my 28k LS Ele Buzzsaw so far?

you got 20 more easy leavels to go. If you went with the beginners tree, but don't need the resist from the tree anymore, respec them into life / damage. Id rather go for life first (try to reach 5k at least).

DPS on the tooltip does not matter. What matters is in the character screen, the line which states "Mainhand total combined damage". Its the damage you do with one Hit of Cyclone. Add those 2 up and divide by 2 so you get your avarage hit damage. Take this by 4 to get your minimum DPS. with quicksilver you can spin up to 7-8 times/sec, so your dps is average hit * 8.

Damage will come with levels/skillpoints into damage nodes.

Watch my screenshots in section 5.).post your current tree if possible and a screenshot of your character sheet offence tree with highlighting cyclone.

tree is fine. DPS calc is right. 8 casts per second is the most you can get, if you recast your cyclones perfectly. most of the time you cast it between 4-6 times. Your Damage per hit is more then okey for this level.

The karui chopper (Kaoms) is better. put 20 Whetstones on it. You do not need attackspeed on the weapon, you need pure damage. The base damage from Kaoms is higher.

with more levels/hp nodes youll see a big increase in survivability. Also, take the damage nodes under duelist (executioner) when you feel u got enough HP.

That's odd. the copy of the tree I posted spazzed out. Hopefully this one works.
I already have Executioner. The majority of the things I don't have from here on out, are Health nodes.


So for where I'm at, it seems I won't be having any increases in DPS will I? At least, not without an extremely good weapon?

(Once this character hits ~80/85 and grabs all the HP nodes, would it be viable to start testing Atziri?)
