Live preparation of 1.2.0 patch notes

Nerfs and buffs, all in the right places. Ahh, yes. Is good.

Also, I had an ultra innovative and cool dual SWT build all set and ready to go from a couple of days ago. Now I will park it until it's no longer 'a thing' again. :)
first of all sorry for the off topic. i feel this thing is needed for the good of the game.

So, how do these Acuity gloves benefit my SRS build again?
If you can't play a build because you don't have the gloves, play another one (that might allow you to get the gloves in the first place). There are tons of fun builds out there. Moreover, if you're playing a build that is fun to play, super rare items become less important.
At least this works for me. I play in a way that provides fun and if something nice drops, I then can look for a specific build using this item.
Only recently a unique Occultist's Vestment dropped for me. Would it be Shav's or Infernal Mantle? It was the Mantle. I was very happy with it and thought of a fire based build to play with it.

Not caring about those items that only a small fraction of players will ever have makes the game so much more enjoyable. You should try it.

its not about a player cant get it, its about it being broken. with the new so called nerf, the item is now broken + hard to obtain. bias if u ask me really. and yes ive used acuity before, and i can tell u its damn broken.

Cylone no longer supported by Multistrike!

Whaaat? That's like admitting defeat to desync. I'm dissappointed:/
Desync is not the only reason for this change (although it is one part of it).

Multistrike's modifiers to a skill technically apply to Cyclone, in that it is an action that can be repeated and which can benefit from attack speed, but they don't interact with it in the way Multistrike is supposed to work in general (strike three times, with the speed bonus making all three strikes take less time to counter the fact you're performing three before doing something else).
While we were okay with leaving this for a while to see how it went, it does cause problems.

Are there any other ways to make Cyclone faster, I have a build that needed the IAS increase from that along with faster attacks to sustain itself... is it RIP then?
Oblivious

If your point is that the patch is great and game is booming based on this criteria, then you have some serious reasoning issues.

If you think this thread getting nearly 60,000 views in that short a time(and much of that time being in the middle of the night in their largest market areas) DOESN'T show that people are excited about this expansion, then perhaps you should consider which of us has the reasoning issues.

Dude, real life is where people have to yearn for things they can't have. In a computer game, everyone should have Ferarris, because this one guy does. He found it in a certain place but when others looked there, they didn't find a Ferrari, just a WRX STI.

Not fair!

...I kinda get it though. I basically do get whatever I want in real life (I am not high maintenance), so not always getting what I want in a game is quite novel and challenging. I imagine for people who use games as escapism, this reality, that without an inordinate amount of work they're just as average in PoE as in real life, isn't much fun.

People always look so bored when they drive Ferraris anyway. As though they're not quite as utterly happy as they thought they'd be with it.
https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

Huh. My mace dude is now an actual cultist of Chayula. That's kinda wild.

Imagine if a large percentage of those views were out of interest not excitement.

Maybe people interested to see if the game is no longer worth playing or returning to.

Poll it plodd!
