Cherrubim's Maleficence - Supporter's Unique Item Craft Retrospective
" I don't think so as it is an 'increased' effect, which means that Vaal Pact would get an additive boost of 12% to it. Even with a 20% quality LL gem that would be an additional 8%, so it would push Vaal Pact up to 60% effectiveness when all is said and done if I did the math right? As far as the item goes...a very nice item, NACR. I was eventually wanting to make a bow build for my Voltaxic Rift that I have sitting around and this chest piece would compliment it nicely. Looking forward to getting one and testing out to see how effective it will be. :) |

That art progression is very interesting and VERY unlikely my experiences. Colour me supremely jealous.
Nick's design inclination seems to be fewer mods, no drawbacks. That's definitely a two-edged sword. On the one hand, it makes uniques instantly more desirable, as players no longer have to weigh up whether or not the item is worth the risk -- the implicit downside to, say, this item is that it doesn't have the bonuses of other items, such as resistances. On the other hand, it can make creating items with personality and 'uniqueness' much tougher. As a certain Vader said to his offspring, it's too late for me, but I think this is a step towards creating a lot more 'Crest of Perandus' style uniques. https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable. Huh. My mace dude is now an actual cultist of Chayula. That's kinda wild. Last edited by Foreverhappychan#4626 on Aug 18, 2014, 6:24:54 PM

I like it because the life leech rate seems great (it is), but at the end of the day it just pushes regular life leech a bit closer to the truly op (acuity and vaal pact).
And again the fact that its armor/evade hybrid means its not a further buff to the truly op (low life). Cool looking armor, great write up. If you did this back when supporter packs that had unique creation (diamond and eternal?) were still a thing their sales would have shot up by a ton. |

The unique Cherrubim looks to be slightly overpowered. I cannot knock its 2D and 3D Art though, because it's a work of beauty. Well done, George.
The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

I personally think the increased leech rate is a godly stat.
Great artwork, i hope it's not too rare tho (hoping for it to be rare as a Lightning Coil). [2.2] The Vampire - Tanky 2H Axe Slayer Duelist - /view-thread/1611662
