The guide explains what type of gear you should use and what gems to use in the build?
Afraid I don't have any characters left atm with any of these builds, I changed my lvl 100 witch to classic summoner to kill uber and then i've made new guides for the other chars :S

Found a Queens Decree on lvl 40 Act 4 normal.
Is it viable in HC for some time?

edit: forget it.. died on King Kaom at lvl 41 ...

Awesome man, sadly I am very allergic to the Queens Decree weapon I feel that it is heavily underpowered for being a 2handed weapon that summoners are suppose to use. It does not even come remotely close to the 1h/shield style or a rare 2h staff for many other summoner builds.

I have a 6 link +3 staff atm, i can afford a 6l pledge as well the thing is i made my scion life based and using belly atm. Can you tell me which gem setup is more efficient and if i should switch to plegde instead. I am also thinking of switching to ES version cause than i will be able to run more auras

I got a question about the build. I played it up to 72 at the end of warbands, and it quickly became my favorite build so far. But I felt a little squishy. I had about 2.5k life and ES, so a total of 5k effective life. I know its low and could be improved a lot, but my question is, wouldnt be going full life better? Why did you choose to go hybrid? Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to say thanks once again for the guide. One of the most fun builds I've played since beta.

Unfortunately I ripped at 78 :( (in a Tunnels map, even. I survived Onslaught buffed, +damage +crit Haast but not five minutes later I was instagibbed--by magic Rhoas :'( )

Still, this is one of the few chars I plan on taking as far as I can get in Standard once the league ends, so thanks again for it. In fact now that it's no longer HC I may even try Atziri eventually, something I've never even considered before.

So thanks, once again, for an amazing build and demonstrating the power and fun of summoners!

I would suggest in your situation to run Alphas Howl, life based and get Blood Magic mod crafted on your +3 staff. Its what im doing on my stream atm to test it out! Its awesome :)

If you change to ES version there are a lot of things you have to check before making such a change.
If you can sustain SRS with Multistrike linked during a Vaal Haste without speccing in to extra mana, mana regen and/or mana cost reduction nodes then a +3 staff will be better. (This obviously requires some heavy mana regen on gear and/or mana cost reduction mod on jewels that all should have Minion Damage > Cast Speed > mana cost reduction).

Hybrid is in many cases a lot cheaper to reach high eHP compared to life based items. Thats the biggest reason, the defensive differences isn't big once you get the feeling for how to gear up a hybrid build :)

I got 20/20 Challenges completed on HC and level 85 with a SRS with some info from this guide!! Thanks!!

I made some decent currency while grinding my way to 85 but i am not super rich by any means.

I was wondering if you could have a look at my gear if you can see anything i can improve, i been having a hard time figuring out what i should improve next.
