[2.1 Ghazzy - Summoner Guides] Low Budget Builds
" Ohhh yes of course that makes sense when using Generosity. Hah thanks! Maybe only a problem with having more than 1 SRS in a party! :D |

" Hey, My suggestion has always been, and will remain to be: "Level & play something you find enjoyable, and play that in what ever way makes it most enjoyable for you! It doesn't matter if the build is the safest, fastest, or cheapest in the end this is a game, make sure you enjoy your time in here!" With that said; You can level as a summoner but it is rather slow (rather = very). Some common fast paced leveling skills to use is Flame Totem, Lightning Trap, Incinerate, Firestorm that will enhance your leveling experience in a faster pace! " SRS usually don't bring much to the party more than the auras and vaal haste due to the fact that we are "building up our DPS" before it is deployed, making most other builds somewhat more effecient at clearing maps in parties, when we solo the few spirits we summon are enough to drop most things but in party other builds seems to be a tad bit more efficient. (Party PoV stricly) " Hey, This is a very common question and the answer is rather simple as it seems as most people are missing a very vital and big point behind Pledge of Hands and where the damage actually is coming from regarding our minions; Pledge of Hands provides us with 100% increased mana, now this only ends up with use getting ~50-100 more flat mana unreserved, right? To get that it has increased your maximum mana pool which your mana regen is based on. Now this allows you to remove mana/mana regen and/or mana cost reduction nodes you have whilst using a +3 staff to be able to sustain the SRS casting during a Vaal Haste. Well, we save points... then what? We put those points towards Jewel slots with Minion Damage as well as Cast Speed modifiers! With this implemented in your gear the Pledge will not only do more damage it will also be more of a comfortable playstyle when it comes to sustaining your spirits. NOTE: For builds using Eldritch Battery + Zealot's Oath this obviously does NOT apply, in those builds we have all regen we want making the +3 staff better. However, if you are going for Uber Atziri or Low Life builds or just want to kill Atziri as a SRS player, those keystones are not recommended. At least not from my builds! " Hi GHazzy, thanks for this amazing guide. I'm currently following it in the Warbands league and I'm having a blast. I just failed my first ever Atziri this morning but that's probably more my fault, than the guides. :) I have a question though and I don't know if it belongs in the "advanced section" if it does, i apologize in advance. Regarding Pledge of Hands, I have amased enough currency to be able to afford a 5L PoH, is this still regarded as better than a 2+/1+ or the 2+ fire I'm currently using? Don't want to waste the currency if it's only pulls ahead on a 6L Thanks in advance. |

Anybody know if stygian revenants benefit from the following gem qualities?
Slower projectiles quality- projectile damage Lightning penetration quality- % lightning damage Spell echo quality- % spell damage If they all benefit revenant damage, then minion damage would be most important to get 20q followed by the above gems, right? Just figuring out what to spend my currency on after i get rathpith & a 6-link,since I'm loving this 6-keystone build ^_^ *edit* I would ask these on the stream, but I'm at work with my phone ha. Thanks for the very in-depth builds, Ghazzy. Most other summoner guides out there are out of date and unreliable.
I'm trying the X-Keystone build (only took 14 regrets to switch over from my old build). My damage output has skyrocketed, although I'm extra squishy at the moment because my gear is all ES focused. At least I'll never run out of mana :D Time to change up my gear a bit, I think! Last edited by Thauma#0709 on Aug 3, 2015, 5:50:18 PM

hi there, thanks for the extensive guide it was nice to read .. im new to poe been playing 2weeks and i got some questions
1- whats difference between witch/scion builds? 2- how much the total cost of the build? as i have 160chaos from my total currencies and 95 pure chaos thanks |

" I might be able to help with question 2. These builds aren't particularly dependent on specific gear, but you get better damage output with any gear that boosts minion damage and life. Here's some stuff I'm using: The wand and chest were ~1ex each, but the other items I picked up for a few chaos each. You mainly just want to make sure you'll be able to have a good number of Zombies and Spectres. My gear gives me 9 Zombies and 5 Spectres. I'm considering swapping the wand out for something that offers me more defence - 30% life reservation is rough! A key thing is getting enough sockets on your gear, whatever it is. 4L boots, gloves and helm are vital for boosting each minion type adequately and hosting your curse spell, and you may need to farm Chromatic Orbs to get the right colours. See Ghazzy's instructions on what gear bonuses you need to focus on. Last edited by Thauma#0709 on Aug 3, 2015, 8:45:12 PM

" Absolutely no worries! The Pledge is better at all stages as long as you are saving nodes from mana/mana regen and/or mana cost reduction from equiping it, which you obviously should :) " Cheers! Spell Damage as awell as Lightning damage are both scaling the same way so the higher the number the higher the damage gain. Projectile damage does the exact same thing so when grading those 3 you go by the numbers! Which all gives 0.5% damage gain per 1% quality! " Haha nice! Cheers for the kind words, appreciate it. :) " 1) Difference is only the starting area on the skilltree being slightly better for Scions in the keystone builds. And same thing but for witches in the pure hybrid srs build! 2) Keystone build costs about 20-30c in total in a temp-league to run end-game maps with. Then you can always evolve it with higher cost items and/or 6L :) So you're stock of currency is perfect for that build. For the Pure Hybrid SRS it should be slightly more expensive but well within your reach. The builds released are all low budget ones in this thread! @Thauma Thank you for being part of the helping hands in this thread! However, I must say that some of the items linked are for the next stage of the Keystone build. Basically for you guys who are new here the higher cost items linked above are possible upgrades ready and available to make the build even better! Like Thauma is saying here, he got 5 Spectres which increases the clear speed significantly! But it does come with a cost. Guides: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/ghazzy-guide-hub

" Glad to help! You're right; Vis Mortis and Midnight Bargain aren't exactly budget items ;P Having 5 Spectres is awesome but they get pretty hard to control. Maps with narrow corridors and choke points get pretty messy! Once I find a slot for Convocation, I'm putting it back in. Last edited by Thauma#0709 on Aug 4, 2015, 9:36:37 PM
