Hi, i tried the similar build (no Ondar's point). No snapshotting, witch lvl 86, two Andvarius, Arumvorax rapier, 5L armour chest with all res/chaos (easy to make 4 red + 1 blue sockets). The Vertex head, Prism Guardian, Rainbowstride boots and res ammy. The map: 74 lvl Residence (blue with magic monsters), zombies only (Raise Zombie + clean Empower lvl 3 + MPD + Multi + Splash). Started 5 aura: Haste, Discipline, Purity of Elements, Anger and Vitality (all 20/20). Life available: 700/ ES shield 3800. No problem at all...that's the nice farming result today:

P.S. With 5L Solaris Lorica i have the same results...with 70 up to 75 maps. My chaos res is between 24% and 75%, depending on the equipment. MF: 166-300IIR and 16-70 IIQ (i have legacy rings and amulets with IIQ).

Wish you the best of luck, staff crafting seems crazy expensive.

Rolling +1 gems is about 1/350, and rolling +max cast or regen also 1/300-500ish each, so about 1/200 to hit at least one. So it's like 70k alts or 218ex at 320:1 just to get +1 and 60%+ mana regen or 22% cast.

Next you will want to regal +2 fire, cast speed, regen, or chaos resist. After spending 218ex just to get two blue mods, it seems you need to et-regal, and then et-ex. I would guess it will be 60 et-ex per stat, maybe much more. So in total 240 et + 180 ex = 780 ex at 2.5et:1ex.

So in a best case scenario you are looking at over 1000ex to craft it. If I were you I would pay Ventorr some 30ex for advice, if he is even willing to give it. I talked to him the other day, and even he said he needs to be careful when attempting to craft staffs so he doesn't go broke.

Hey! Thanks for all the info ! I don't do snapshotting at all on this char because i'm preparing for 1.2.Lvl 80 atm. I currently have max resists (over40% max resists) 250IIR (with divination on) and about 70IIQ. Got 3.2k life and 1.3 ES atm, 1.5k mana(350 unreserved) running hatred and purity. I'm purely zombie oriented with 8 zombies atm, got Skullhead unique, Aurumvorax and Aurseize,Perundus Blazon(uncorrupted) and MF/life rings, ammy and boots (no Andvarius).
6L decent chest with gems: Raise Zombies, Multistrike, melee splash, IIQ, Culling Strike, Minion damage.
Raise zombie is lvl 20, 13%Q(corrupted -_-) and all others are around lvl 18 with 14%Q in average.

The only thing i'm really afraid of is that my zombies don't have enough life without snapshotting to withstand heavy hitting bosses like the Dungeon boss or any other 72+ heavy hitting boss...
The Dungeon boss sometimes kills off all my zombies in 5 seconds (got all minion nodes available in the skill tree) IF i go for EB and take another aura i won't be able to use Divination at all due to too high mana regen -.- ...

So my question is: am i doing something wrong, is my build wrong, do i just suck or is it the snapshotting and doing the "anti zombies" map bosses...
