And, thank god (chris) for that!

If you've seen my livestream doing uber atziri you can also see my frustration and depression everytime i'm forced to re-snapshot...

Can I ask what you level'ed with or did you go full summoneer from the start? If you used something else to level, when did you change to full summoneer, around lvl 65?

Do you think summoneer will be as good without the snapshooting, when the new patch comes?

As Malone mentions, it is impossible for me to predict the future, i can merely guess.

I have played this game for 4.5months by now and i lvld all the way as a summoner using Vaal Skellies for bosses and raging spirits and i had 1500 ES running low life with Solaris Lorica Copper Plate... so you could be safe when assuming i was a complete noob when i started this game.

However, to give you something worthwhile reading:
Raging spirits together with lvling zombie gems/empower/minion life to make them survive is a very stable way til you get snapshot gear.

heh I know you can't predict the future, what I meant was: Are summoners in this current Meta able to do End Game Maps, without snapshooting?

If not, then we have to look for some kind of "buff" to minion gems or passive tree, when they take away snapshotting

If you get a few spare moments and don't mind checking out my build, I'd welcome your Critique and expertise. It is not a SRS focused build, but is a Summoning build. At the moment I don't have any numbers, WIP. Comments/Critique good/bad are welcome from everyone of course!

Yes we are able to "somewhat" run 78 maps even 79 without snapshoting, however your build must be built to work without snapshotting.

Regular Atziri is also doable without snapshoting, only it's a lot harder without any proper justification to make it harder tbh...

The biggest problem i see here is the limitation towards the spells you can use, since you will be forced to use a HP flask (simmilar to how i am (again) "somewhat" forced to use 1 mana flask. However my build consists of snapshoting whilst yours will require resummoning, which makes 1 HP flask (in this case due to BM) not enough.
I fail to see how 10 auras are useful for any summoner build as we (at least currently) only need to run 7, possibly 8 if you're lazy and cba to change PoI for Grace when needed to for certain boss fights.

Then i would like to add that the auras Wrath and Anger are poor auras due to the dmg being reduced by resistances in the end and them not being worth running as it drops the utility of your build as well as sockets, which we will be running short of when snapshotting gets fixed.

Raise Zombies will never survive, at least not at the current state, without necromantic aegis which again, makes the choice of adding auras via Prism Guardian a poor choice.



I'm sorry to give you so much criticism, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the fact that we get more and more people looking in to crafting different summoner builds.
However, I must say that theory-crafting is one thing, but to start making a guide or craft an actual non-snapshotting, is as of right now a complete waste of time. To many things will change when the patch notes hits us so we know what sort of materials we have to work with.
