Thank You Ghazzy for the good work. I was using your ES build (with ci)before awakening and even with max res I wasn´t happy at all feeling like a paper sometimes...level, gear, You know it. Now with the reset I chose your hybrid build and its wonderfull. I have around 1k more ES than before, an "extra" 2800 hp so i feel like a Tank and with more damage so im enjoying it a lot as I wanted it. Feeling like a tank with big dps is so fun :D
About the staff its a great time for us. Of course I trust your numbers and the numbers of the other people that show Plegde its the best staff now for us. Even if the pledge could be "a bit" worse reading someone in this thread.... the price of a 6l pledge right now make it very cheap if you compare it with a good 6l +3 fire staff. I can write it now that i just bought a 6l pledge lol. Pledge has a good thing too and its that you can use it for other builds (ofc changing colours of sockets) if you buy it with a good % increase spell dmg as I made it ^^ thinking in other uses in the future.... so even in that its a great staff. Keep the good work man. |

Thanks for the nice guides.
Ghazzy you should try Profane chemistry with your SRS hybrid builds. This his my scion SRS/Revenants variant (filled with minion damage jewels). P.S. While leveling I used the careful planing jewel (int to dex) between Mind over mater and EE for a huge dex boost. minion stats: http://goo.gl/gQxs0w Modifiers: http://goo.gl/jGIr8b Zombie dps calculator: http://goo.gl/XIStJV Last edited by Galax201#1110 on Jul 20, 2015, 4:42:52 AM

" Shavronne's will be used in my high budget build being released in a few hours on this thread: http://tinyurl.com/o4upork " I am very glad to hear! Thank you for the kind words. Pledge of Hands is the BiS Staff atm, it's been the end result of almost everyones calculations. Do let me know if there is anything i can do to help. :) " Looks great! Like i always promote: See my or anyone elses guides more as guidelines and do what you feel is the most optimal build in terms of enjoyment for YOU. Keen to reroll as the Hybrid Summoner over the self built spectre summoner I've been doing in Warbands but have a-few questions so please bear with me
• What is the reason behind dropping Multistrike with 2.0 release, wouldn't the slower attackspeed make they clear slower? • 5L +2 Staff vs 5L Pledge with not having an empower gem past level 1? • You have Bones of Ullr listed as uniques for levelling/endgame, would you replace them once you have a 5L Staff? • My Witch in Warbands is past level 82 being the reason for the reroll (the challenges in the leagues), how much of a disadvantage is it going scion with the tree route (The mana nodes leaving the Scion area)? • My Spectre Summoner is using a Vis Mortis, I assume this would not be ideal for a SRS focussed Hybrid build that needs high ES to make up for lack of shield? • At what gear stage would one try Atziri generally with a SRS build, in terms of the level gem and number of links? I've recently got just enough currency to either 6L my +3 11% CS staff OR buy a 6L pledge, so I've been checking calculators to double check the results most people seem to be getting, these being "Pledge=BiS". I have two issues that are confusing me:
>I've been messing around mostly with Axazol's calculator (which got updated a few hours ago it seems) and I'm getting more dps with a +3 22% CS staff vs a Pledge. Pledge on the other hand (no pun intended) seems to be superior to the more reasonable +3 11% CS staff. With my parameters this is true both for 20/20 gems and 21/20+20/23 gems. While this to me means Pledge is a more efficient investment, it shows the absolute best staff is a +3 22% CS. >I'm getting more dps with a 20/20 multistrike than with a level 3 empower, even on a +3 staff. In fact even a level 4 empower can't get close to the same dps. These are the gem stups that have given me the highest dps, for the record: +3 staff: SRS-MinionDMG-MeleePhysDMG-MeleeSplash-Multistrike-Echo Pledge: SRS-MinionDMG-MeleePhysDMG-MeleeSplash-Multistrike-CullingStrike I've considered the first 4 gems as a "core" for a general mapping setup, only swapping around the last 2 supports. For bosses the MSplash->MDOFL would give you a massive dps increase, as expected. Any feedback about possible mistakes in the calculations will be appreciated. |

" * We have Flesh Offering, Haste, Vaal Haste the extra atk speed from multistrike simply isnt worth as much. However, i am in the process of doublechecking every single detail within the calculations with the help of Axazol and should have everything 100% correct and minmaxed for you soon. * Without doing the calculations I think i want to say that Pledge is still really strong due to helping you out with the mana issues. DPS wise i believe they'd be on par. In that specific situation. * You'd most likely want to get in to those extra ES nodes & mana regen nodes either case, so you'll basically lose the 4 points you need to get out off the Scion starter (assuming you'd take the mana route you could save mana regen elsewhere) * The chest piece should never be Vis Mortis, it simply isnt worth using. Instead you want to go for a rare chest piece with as high ES as possible, this will give you more eHP compared to Vis Mortis on top of being able to provide you with more resistances and/or benchcraft with +1 zombies if you will. * lvl 18+ gems roughly around lvl 85+ is doable, recommending with experience at that point. If you are fresh I'd say play around with it at lvl 88+ important detail is to make sure you have the attribute requirements for all the stuffs. (Vaal Haste specifically). +2 Fire / +3 / Pledge with at least 5 Links is enough as well. Recommendation is to wait for srs gem to hit lvl 20. If you have any other questions, feel free to fire away! You can always reach me for live assistance via my livestream. " Pledge is better than the more reasonable +3 staff indeed. I am doublechecking with Axazol about the end game results as well. However, a detail people are missing is that if you get a +3 with 20%+ cast speed, you'll be using lvl 28 spirits, not 24. You wont have 100% increased mana pool. Now i have the heaviest geared summoner in the game in standard. That character was having major issues sustaining spirits with the old clarity. Now clarity is reduced reservation and effect, we will be gaining a lot more cast speed from jewels making it even harder to sustain. Even if a +3 staff will be on par or even a tini tiny bit above Pledge if you get t1-2 cast speed on it. You'll simply have hilariously insane problems sustaining the casting at that minmaxed situation. Regarding Multistrike there are a lot of discussions going on behind the scenes about the gem setup. It seems as the elite are reaching different results. Which is why we are turning to the 2 guys doing the best calculations in the game for summoners: Axazol & MatrixFactor. As mentioned above, gem setup and tool link and information will be updated asap. As I am extremely limited in time I have decided to ask Axazol to support me with the calculations so i cant give you feedback on possible misstakes there. However, I do ask you to move these more complicated/advanced questions to the high budget thread for the sake of newer players coming in for low budget builds! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1085923 Guides: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/ghazzy-guide-hub

So ghazzy, what sort of stats in terms of life are we looking at towards the end/mapping stages? How much life is expected? If we convert our es through to EB even with MoM we only have a 30% damage reduction and sometimes that can go away when mana is depleted. Wouldn't having PURE es on top of our hp be more beneficial and instead run a prism guardian with discipline to provide more effective life through the form of es and also help our minions. This way we can reach upwards of 4k+ life and es combined easily with mid range gear.
I'm just comparing your guide to liftingnerdbro which I both like equally! and the only major difference is that he doesn't run EB/MoM. He looks really tanky as well! I just don't understand the maths between giving up alot of ES for only 30% damage reduction! with proper gearing we could get up to 3-5k es on top of life which seems more than worthy than 30% damage reduction ign DominusDontTouchMe
