Do not mess with Queen Atziri

I wonder if her seemingly overpowered Flameblast could be nullified with close to 100% fire resist.

Something like this gives in my case 97% fire resist which could potentially bring her ~8k hit down to about 240-300 damage lol. Add enfeeble and we're good to go. Assuming she does not reflect curses which is likely to happen.

It makes you think GGG made Searing Bond so OP on purpose, to get people hooked to 'owning' and then bam, ignite resistant and it's time to reroll.

Searing bond was never that good in endgame anyways(and scales terribly with more links). No one was going to beat Atziri with searing bond.

She isn't in ANY WAY needed to enjoy the game. She's supposed to be very hard, deal with it.

Hyperbole?? it seems only what players wants: easy bosses that everyone can kill with moderate gear and skills.

This one requires good gear and good skill/reflexes, what's wrong about that?

You can make your point without drastically overstating the complaints. I think you should have good gear to beat her as well but the only people I have seen do it so far had PERFECT gear and still nearly died.

He wansnt even trying to dodge flameblasts, no purity of fire on, no ruby and topaz flasks on, probably no saffels or RoTP on

Ok, you need good gear, but also some skill and game sense

a spammable attack that does over 7k damage through maxed resistance, and covers most of the screen AoE - and you think a "gimme half your manas for +4 max resist" (at best) aura, or a Ruby/Topaz Flask that runs out faster than you can say "oh god when do the minions start spawning?", will actually save you?

strategy for Atziri fight: don't get hit. if you get hit - you die.

and don't bring less than BiS gear, because you'll die long before you even reach Atziri.
where to get BiS gear? I hear your local trade-flipper tycoon and his friend the RMT site owner are having a sale. lots of discount prices.

though you can always keep farming like a bot, hoping RNG will randomly throw something your way, then try the fight. somewhere in 2020.
